We love this. Our door is extra tall—8’—so we couldn’t find one that fit until now. It is the perfect size! The magnets work great and the screen also has the unexpected but pleasant effect of softening the sunlight going into the house, so we’re not blinded at our kitchen table. It doesn’t block any noise. A few tips based on our experience: 1) There are two install options—adhesive with Velcro or pushpin-like fasteners. We didn’t want to put holes in our jamb so we just did the adhesive/Velcro. Our toddler is able to pull the screen off the Velcro lining. We feel that rehanging it occasionally is worth not worrying about holes, but if you want to have it stay up without question, use the fasteners. 2) Make sure you follow the install directions and put the middle of the screen slightly higher than the ends (see photo with exaggerated green angle added). Otherwise the magnets won’t have gravity to help get them back together after opening. 3) Don’t put the adhesive Velcro on the jamb until you’ve measured, or you may have a floor gap.

We couldn’t be more pleased with the quality of this screen. Easy install. We decided to staple right into the door way and not mess with the Velcro. The magnets are strong and close automatically. Budget friendly. Keeps the bugs out, thickness is good, no gap in the middle and extremely easy to use and pet friendly.

Update: the white mesh screen shows dirt from regular use. I have purchased this mesh screen previously in black. It works great! It is easy to install, fits my door frame perfectly, magnets do their job and it closes itself, and keeps the bugs out! A small glitch is that my door frame is metal, so the magnets attach to the door sometimes, and I just need to be vigilant to check and close the screen as needed. I recently replaced the old black one with the white one. I’m not 100% happy. It does fit and keeps the bugs out, but when the western afternoon sun hits it, there’s an eye blinding glare! I will be switching it for a black one, because the glare is truly annoying.

We absolutely LOVE THIS SCREEN DOOR. My husband installed it in minutes. It’s easy to operate and lock. It is marked so no one should be able to try to walk through it. Airflow is fantastic. Keeps all bugs out and there’s no gap at the top or bottom. WELL DONE AMAZON

This screen seems very well made. The magnetic closure runs the entire length of the screen and pulls the two sides together very well. Installation was easy and it looks like a good way to be able to keep a door open while keeping the mosquitoes out.

Doesn’t last more than a year. I purchased this at the end of 2023. It won’t get me through another summer. The fabric that holds the magnets has basically disintegrated, so the magnets fall out and the flaps no longer hold together. Flies and bugs seem to have a sixth sense for finding their way through the gaps.Will I buy another one? Yes, it worked well while it was in one piece. But just know it won’t last.p.s. while this does get direct sun exposure, it hasn’t been exposed to snow or tons of rain. And for an item intended to be outside, I’d expect it to be reasonably weatherproof.

Very easy to install. Works like a dream. I prefer white screening over black for esthetics and I think it allows more light to come in than black which is important fot my indoor plants
