I gave this lighter to my son as a gift. He says it works great and he likes the novelty of it. It does work in all weather conditions. He did recommend that the maker add a warning to not touch the part that lights. When he didn’t see a flame, he immediately touched that part and got a painful burn. This may seem like common sense but I think it was curiosity. My son is an electrician and a consultant on electrical systems to some of the largest companies in the nation...so he isn’t dumb. Opening to use is a bit complex so it should be safe around children as long as it is closed.

When I ordered this lighter I had my doubts—- no more! Lights everything effectively. From melting the ends of nylon cord to starting a fire. Works flawlessly.

It works great but not good for lighting small candles. Won’t reach the wick.

I liked that the plasma arc was face up. That makes it much easier to light something and easier to clean if needed. I can get tender or what ever (cigarettes) to the arc easier. The bright orange makes this easy to spot if dropped when camping. The case has a latch that works very well and does not come undone in my pocket. I also bought a solar charger with a USB port so I can recharge this when camping/hiking. That way I will never run out of fuel. I love the reaction I get from others when I use this.

Bought this lighter for my dad for Father's Day, and it does not dissapoint.I'd say he uses it at least once per day since then, whether it be for the flashlight, or the actual lighter part. He is a a prepper, and is very picky about what he likes and what he doesn't. This lighter is quality!Was very happy with the fact that it is made in the USA, and by veterans.Definitely recommend!

Nice little light and lighter. I like that it is small and fits in my jeans pocket. Once a week I have to take the garbage out and it is dark out side. The light is the right size to carry while dragging the cans out. It is orang and easy to find when I drop it.

I like this product because it performs as advertised and it is certainly a bargain per the cost.
