Easy to Install and Gets the Job Done
I have no complaints with this product. It was super easy to install and it appealed to me that you didn't have to attach the phone rest with some sort of peel off adhesive piece like you'd need to with the alternative, more modern looking option that is sold on Amazon that has the more sleek design. I didn't want to mess up my phone receiver by having something attach to it with an adhesive in case I ever decided to remove it, so I opted for this one which is less modern looking but very functional and does not require adhesive to attach onto your receiver. It has a neat design in that it has a plastic piece in center of rest that goes around your receiver and then securely locks in on the other side. You then tighten a screw once you have the phone rest positioned in the right place to be comfortable for you.It matches my phone really well (I purchased the black phone rest but it comes in a few colors). My business phone is a dark silver/gray but has a little black so it blends nicely. I thought it was going to be really obtrusive or unattrative looking but it's totally not and just blends with everything else on the desk and has a classic look which appealed to me. The fact that it solves my problem so well makes me like the look even more.I read the 2 star review and it stated they felt it interfered with picking up the receiver. I don't have that issue or sense of feeling it's awkward to do so. You can actually slide the phone rest up and down the receiver to a point where you are comfortable with it before you tighten the one screw and you can also adust it some left to right. It definitely feels 100% more comfortable to rest my head on the receiver now rather with the phone rest attached than use my shoulder to prop up the receiver. I'm not interested in a headset, so this item is perfect for me. Overall I give this item 5 stars. It's an inexpensive, very functional, simple solution to a common problem.

Flimsy and unstable
If I could give this zero stars I would. It is the cheapest, most convoluted, flimsiest thing I have ever wasted my time and money on. Everything falls apart when you are trying to adjust it. You can’t get a snug fit and the phone falls right off your shoulder. It’s not stable enough. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY ON THIS. Get a headset.

For me...better than the stick on rubber piece.
Definitely read the directions for "installation." Then think about it and read them again.I like this better than the stick on rubber pieces - WHY? well I don't have to crane my neck to keep the phone by my ear. I can't dance a jig or wiggle around to much while I am on the phone as it will fall off my shoulder, but I can listen and talk and type, which is just what I needed.I had to adjust the shoulder piece way over to the right for a good fit to my left ear, so without moving it I cant use the phone on my right ear, but I don't anyway as my phone is on my left. By the way, pull down and twist, you will see the teeth, separate them to adjust.

Thank you from my neck!
After reading other reviews over the net I was kinda iffy about this purchase. Being desperate I went ahead and WOW! Despite others having problems putting it together I found it a breeze. To say using it has surpassed my expectations is an understatement. Not only does it sit comfortably and stay in place with almost no pressure but the constant crick in my neck is finally going away! I would put this on every phone I have if I could but it won't work on phones that have buttons on them.Maybe there's a way to glue it on.............

Good concept. Bad product.
This item is completely plastic which makes me super careful with it. It is a piece of molded plastic, which is not movable, and two little ties. It’s difficult to attach. It took my maintenance supervisor and another person to get it on. You need one person to hold it in place while the other straps it to the phone. The description says it’s adjustable, but t’s only partially adjustable. You can choose the location on the phone; however, once its attached, it’s not easy to adjust to your neck and shoulder. You have twist it to the left or right of the receiver, depending which shoulder you use. Once we had it all adjusted, which took about 30 minutes, it doesn’t stay on my shoulder. I literally have to press my neck down, so my head can hold it in place. If I move my head slightly, the receiver slides off of my shoulder and onto the floor. The position you choose for one shoulder makes it impossible to use on the other one. One more thing. When you get it adjusted and strapped into place, you can’t use it on the other shoulder. It’s a great concept; however, this product doesn’t work.

Works better than the other types.
I read lots reviews for this product before purchasing. Many users commented that it is difficult to assemble and they were not kidding! Wow. It took three of us to get this thing on the phone. Once it was on there, we had to try to adjust it several times to get it to work. Once that was finished, it has worked well. Unfortunately, this was the only brand of this type I could find. Maybe I am old school, but the newer shoulder rests are shaped in a way that does not work. The receiver just slides right off of my shoulder. This product would be a hundred times better if they made the strip that goes around the receiver about an inch or two longer. It is so short that you have to have a crew of people to try to get it on there so that it doesn't keep spinning around uselessly. The company did ship super fast, though!

"OLD PHONE" SHOULDER REST. NOT MODERN PHONES.
I HAVE WRITTEN THIS REVIEW BEFORE BUT M0STLY ABOUT THE SELLER. THIS CAN'T BE USED FOR A CORDLESS OR CELL PHONE. IT WAS MADE FOR THE OLD FASHION BIG PHONES AND THE PRINCESS PHONE. IT DOES NOT SAY THAT IN THEIR SALES PITCH. ON THE 'OLD' PHONES IT PROBABLY WORKS- THE ONES THAT ARE AT LEAST 10+YEARS OLD. THE CARDBOARD IT WAS ATTACHED TO WAS SO WRINKLED AND SQUASHED IT TRULY LOOKED LIKE THEY HAD BOUGHT OUT DISCONTINUED MERCHANDISE AND HAVE BEEN TRYING TO GET RID OF IT ON THE NET. THE TOTAL WITH P&H WAS OVER $18.00. I HAVE SEEN THESE ON SALE YEARS AGO FOR $2.00 AT CLOSEOUT STORES. I HAVEN'T CONTACTED THE SELLERS TO GET MY MONEY BACK BECAUSE I GET TOO UPSET WHEN I THINK ABOUT IT. MAYBE WHEN THEY SEE THIS THEY WILL CONTACT ME AND OFFER TO REIMBURSE ME, RIGHT.ARFMAN
