Rhode Island Novelty 1 Inch Bght Color Poppers 144 Pieces

I had no trouble with these like others did. Except that the pink ones didn't want to work well, but all the other colors worked great. They are small, so they could be a choking hazard. My high school students loved experimenting with them.

Let me clear up some questions/concerns about this product. Some will pop so fast that you can't set them down. All you have to do is flip them inside out and roll them for a few seconds between your thumb and fingers. They are molded plastic and brand new, so they might need "stretched" a little. To make them work you flip them inside out and set them down with the "bump" up; the plastic returns to its original shape, "popping" against whatever surface you set it on. Try it off the tip of your finger- they are like tiny rockets flying across the room. They are fantastic toys and loads of fun.

So, the plastic is too soft, which results in the following..1) They do not hold their "Charged State" when you turn them inside out.2) The "Pop" is so weak, they don't jump more than a few inches.I have found if you press them with (2) fingers, set them on the ground it does jump pretty well.. but my favorite part as a kid was the anticipation of the pop. These technically do the job, but just not well.That said, the color and shine is good and the price is excellent for the quantity. But I would (and likely will) purchase another type that uses better plastic for that really good POP.

as many others have stated, these are small and lack the “pop” we hoped for. The fact that there is a hole in the center of each one (for “safety” reasons?) unlike the pictures shown, plays a big part in that. I’ve managed to get one to sit for a few seconds before it launches itself, but even then the launch is only about 2 feet. Had they taken pictures of the actual poppers with hole, I. Would not have purchased them, and I certainly will not purchase from this company again.

PROs~ 144 for a relatively inexpensive price~ different colors~ great for prize boxes~ great for filler in PinataCONS~ very difficult to make them work~ don't really stay inverted long enough before it pops~ probably too difficult for kids to get them inverted, or understand how they work~ possibly could be choking hazards for younger ones

These are fun and fly really high so you will probably immediately lose them. Good thing you have 143 more. They're not the total weak wuss kind that has a hole to prevent them from choking small children and pets dumb enough to swallow them. You can kind of mush two together and make a little bouncy ball. Also if you hot-glue them to the bottom of something they make neat little traction feet.

These are a cute trinket. They are consistently made and pop as well as expected. Good toy for party favor or goody bags.
