Q: The Required stud spacing Is not listed

I had two studs available, but they were only 10" apart. I went to the local Big Box and bought the highest rated anchors they had. 200 lbs each in drywall. I used them on every hole in the mount that did not align with a stud. Our 65" TV is watched pulled out at a 45 degree angle about 30 inches away from the mount. The mount is not budging at all when we pull it out and push it in.

Q: Can i adjust the vertical height (not just tilt) of the tv after mounting it? i want to pull the tv outward 30 inches and then adjust it downward.

This type of mount cannot move vertically. It is important to measure carefully to figure out where the TV will wind up. There are other mounts that will move verticaly as well as horizontally but nont that extend as far as this one.

Q: Can this be installed on a log home wall?

It may be possible to mount this bracket on a log wall with a couple caveats. It mounts via 3 vertical rows of mounting holes on the rear bracket. As shown in the product graphics. Hole centers are vertically spaced at 8 ¼ inches top row to bottom row, or 6 ½ inches 2nd row to bottom row. So if you have log spacing or can use shims so that the mounting surface is essentially flat or at least unobstructed at the apex to apex of adjacent log surfaces, for the entire height of the mounting bracket it could be mounted on logs. I have been happy with this product and it met an unusual mounting need.
