Excellent product,easy to install once I saw YouTube videos on doing it. Took my time & installed it but a 1/4" space on bottom of new battery. No instructions & after a day I dropped phone & it stopped working. Reopened it & found power ribbon broke due to dropping. Contacted company & they sent me a replacement right away.Since no instructions came w/it there were no videos on using adhesive strips to secure battery.Was advised to do so,wher n new battery arrived and 2nd time I did & also used spacer for bottom of battery so it wouldn't happen again.Put it together & works like a charm & it saved me from buying another expensive phone.Company was Super Responsive & would buy from them again. I also replaced the charging port @ the same time so I wouldn't have to open it up later & also to reassure that it would charge correctly. To me it paid off to do them both @ the same time!!Hope this keeps someone from making the same mistake as I did.

Well, I let my electrician boyfriend do the installation so I can't attest to the ease of that. But what matters to me is it WORKED! When the guy that charged me $105 to replace this battery in my s8 Active last year looked at it for me only FOUR months later because my phone had once again BRICKED ITSELF, he said there was nothing he could do. So, I thought well, I have nothing to lose for $18 and bought this. And now I'm typing this review on my phone. NONE of the repair shops would touch it because it is "so old, outdated"??? Geeze, nowadays things are going to be outdated and beyond repair at 3 years???? PUH-LEASE! Whatever. Its backed up now, if it does this again, I may or may not let insurance replace it. This phone has been good except that pesky little battery issue. But if your phone wont charge and you're getting that circle with lightening bolt, get someone handy and buy this. It worked great for me.

I got this kit after the battery on my S8 active went completely belly up. Using the instructional guide from iFixit I was able to replace the battery in a couple of hours. Some notes:- The kit doesn't contain a torx t6 bit, which is the screw that holds the bumpers on. I was able to remove them with the phillips head, but reinstalling them took an outside tool.- The wedge tool is made of thin plastic and bent while removing the battery. I used a bone folder to wedge the battery out of the phone- The battery is a good bit shorter than the OEM battery - I used some paper to prevent it shifting- The kit comes with no instructions of any kind, nor does the adhesive seem to fit to readhere the plastic back. I cut it with some scissors but did so poorly and wasn't able to get a good seal.- don't bother with the suction cup - use a hair dryer or heat gun for the initial phone backI'm hoping the battery will continue to work in the future, I'll update this review if I have issues.Update: it's September and the battery is still working great

excellent value. saved me in a bind. suction cup was useless. prying tools were not sturdy enough to pry battery out of its glued position. I had to use a metal scraping tool, the sharp end. the plastic prying tool provided was not strong enough and bent without removing the batter. seller should have included a link to a video explaining how to remove the battery and replace. I found a video on my own, but this should be part of the package, the link to an instructional video. I cannot comment on the battery life. just used this to bridge me through till i received a replacement phone. but the screwdrivers were great and the battery fit perfectly. good value for the money. would recommend with the above caveats.

Installed fine but had no instructions. After a month the battery went crappy.

Honestly, I was a bit skeptic at first but this replacement battery was a life saver!!! It has been a few months and it is still going strong. It isn't as good as an original Samsung battery but I have no regrets, it was worth the money. A few things to note: Do not charge this battery while using your phone, MAKE SURE that you seal the back of your phone properly after installing the battery and avoid moisture at all cost. All in all, the battery was quick and easy to install and is holding up great.

I bought this, as well as a charging port, to repair my Samsumg Galaxy S8 Active and it works perfectly. It works with the lightning charger cord just like the factory Samsung battery, as well as the Qi enabled wireless charger. It repaired my phone perfectly and exchanged with ease. Only thing I will say is that the suction cup included in the kit isn't strong enough to assist in getting the back of the phone off, so I had to figure out another way, but that's not the reason I purchased this kit the battery was so I'm VERY satisfied with this purchase and would definitely purchase again. Awesome price and fast delivery.

I want to start out with the fact that it ADVERTISED 5000 mAH. No Way not even close. Mis-labeled, Mis-tagged or just plain deception.There is no way to really check without installing so I installed it. I needed my phone so I put it together. Now I wish I took the time to test out the battery.Now as for the rest of the issues, ONE - IT TURNS OFF AND REBOOTS MY PHONE.Yes it just shuts off my phone. And not just at a particular time or voltage, one time it was in use on an important call and I thought they hit dead air. NOPE my phone chose to reboot. One time it was 1/4 full and it shut down.One time I did not even notice it reset, i tried to biometricly get logged in and the phone read that I had to input manual code after reset.I also cant prove this one, but my phone is acting up. It sometimes lags. I attribute that to power fluctuations. Last but not least I have to constantly keep charging the phone.You might ask why dont I just return the battery. Well I did such a great job putting the phone back together I'm afraid take it apart without a better reason.So here are some words of wisdom "Buyer Beware".
