This dancing man lives in our back yard (1 acre) and scares predators from our flock of hens!

I’m going to give this 5 stars, because I got exactly what I ordered. Setting it up was super simple. I wish I would’ve got the 15 foot one but that’s on me. I got this in hopes that it would keep hawks away from my chickens. So far so good!

We have about 30 chickens usually free-ranging in a rural yard, and we were losing about 1 chicken every other day to eagles, hawks, foxes, raccoons, etc. I was hoping to think of a way that a scarecrow could move in order to keep the predators guessing… and then the internet showed me this. “Socky” Is the name of our red moving scarecrow. We move him every day in the yard, and we have not lost a single chicken in the 6 weeks or so we’ve had him. It’s late fall here, and without the protection of foliage on the trees, our girls can hang out under Socky’s unpredictably flailing appendages. It took them a couple days to get accustomed to his wild gesticulations, but we threw a few treats around the base, and he is their new best friend. We’ve found he is holding up beautifully, wind, rain, shine. Color is still vibrant, minimal blower noise is quite tolerable (we can’t even hear him in the house). Take a bow, Socky!

When I first plugged it on and turned it on there was a loud clicking noise and then it sopped. When I looked into the fan housing I could see that the fan was hitting a screw and the electrical box was broken. I called LookOurWay and spoke with a customer rep who asked a few questions and directed me to their web site. He said all I had to do was complete the warrantee claim and they would send a new one. It was a very easy process and I received the replacement blower in a few days, this one works perfectly. I get it, things happen but LookOurWay stood behind their product and for that I am grateful. 5stars for customer service!

I am not saying this is a BAD blower or a bad wiggle man, but this company has to get its customer service/warehouse/shipping into shape.Here is my story of buying this item.1. I knew it was used, I expected used. What I got was a blower FULL of feathers. Yes, feathers. Multi-colored feathers in the area where the fan is.2. The blower worked, but with all the feathers inside the moving parts I was worried it wouldn't work for long.3. I was supposed to get a 9-inch blower, I got a 12-inch blower4. The Wiggle man was for a 9-inch blower - so it wouldn't work with the 12-inch blower5. I returned it easily, they even reshipped before they got the return6. Got the new item it looked like someone urinated on the box, threw it down the steps, urinated on it again and then shipped it after they retaped it a few times7. With the return I AGAIN got a 12-inch blower with a 9-inch wiggle man. I AGAIN can not use this wiggle man with this blower.So - basically what I bought can not be used. I will have to get another wiggle man, because at this point the event is about to start and I don't have the time to wait for another return. Disappointed. Aggravated. I tried to save money so I guess it is what it is.
