I've bought this product several times because finding glucosamine chondritin with MSN for higher dosage with severe arthritis is rarer and quite pricey. Pricing has been fairly consistent and shipping time reasonable. They are large size but that is fairly consistent with these drugs. They are a reliable product.

This is a great supplement for knee and joint pain reduction. I notice when I don't take it, I don't get around as well and I am in a bit of pain. I start taking them again and I feel better. Easy to swallow and priced right.

This product was primarily purchased to administer to my 8 year old Am Staff terrier dog as a preventative measure for joint mobility and added comfort from pain. I like the fact that it's a capsule which is much easier to administer to dogs than a solid tablet. it's simple, they're compact and easy to swallow. Many of these similar products require you to read the fine print on the dosage amount to see if the item is really posted at a fair price. It's not uncommon to find out that 180 capsules sometimes will only last as little as 1 month instead of the 3 months or longer which you might have originally expected. In the case of my dog, based on his weight 2 capsules a day works out just fine. That means for him it will last around 3 months. Adjust the dosage for the individual dogs you administer the treatment to. These are quality Glucosamine and Chondroitin supplements because they're SULFATE based in composition and not HYDROCHLORIDE (HCL) based which is pure garbage. Sulfate is the only way to go because it's chelated and absorbs quickly and smoothly into the blood stream. HCL based supplements don't contain sulfate which is the key element needed to produce and maintain cartilage. Naturally the HCL versions are much less expensive to produce . So don't make the mistake of basing your purchase decision on purely price alone. Although my dog is not displaying any signs of arthritis or joint pain these supplements help to keep his joints limber and less susceptible to future injury. I realize many quality dog food brands offer these supplements in their ingredients or at least they're listed on the bag as as offering it as such. However, the dosage amount isn't reliable, it's often inadequate, and it's usually HCL based in composition which makes it totally worthless. Recently, I've added natural Eggshell Membrane 500 mg Veggie Caps as a new added flexibility booster. My Vet even suggested I try it. Recent Vet medical studies now suggest taking Egg Membrane instead may work even better than taking Glucosamine Chondroitin alone. Who knows? I realize there's lots of joint pain/protection products out there to choose from. Granted unless your pet is already suffering it's really hard for me to know for sure which products really work. I can only base my review on my own research pertaining to what's already existing out there. I love my dog . I simply can't wait until he starts displaying symptoms of discomfort to start a regiment of care . Personally I prefer to be more proactive instead of reactive. Hopefully it's the right decision in the end.
