Perfect for betas
6 months and everything's working! Our half moon beta love it and the only issue is the water creates a film over the light, I just clean it with rubbing alcohol and it turns back to brand new! I get the filters at Walmart for 4$

I want to trade lives with my fish š š
The media could not be loaded. Heās living like a š and Iām low key jealous. The 10 gallon tank I had him in was more upkeep and noise than I wanted. I couldnāt be happier with this option.āØThe filter is quieter than my air conditioner. Itās tiny and I was skeptical but itās got crazy good suction and 20 minutes after set up Iām seeing the floaties from his old water disappear.āØThe body-to-living-space ratio is more spacious than me in my apartment. We all know bowls and small tanks suck for Bettas. This size and shape gives him plenty of room without taking up more than 12ā of surface space.āØIf my lights were this aesthetic I would be in nirvana. The š” light š” is my favorite feature 𤩠I didnāt expect it to have so many settings. Iāve got it slow fading between colors and itās peaceful and mesmerizing. It also has an adjustable timer -and- runs on 3 AAA batteries but also has a charging port!āØMoving in was a breeze for him. Set up couldnāt be easier. Rinse it out, fill it up, put some batteries in the light (no screw driver needed š), plug in the filter, place the lid on top, bask in the perfection š¤. Of course follow safety practices with the drop loop on the filter cord, water conditioner, temperature matching like you would transferring any tank.I didnāt know the tank would be plastic.. but I would have if I had actually read the full description and it doesnāt look cheap and is probably lighter for it so this isnāt a drawback for me.The filter took a while (5 minutes maybe) to actually start cycling water and it had me sweating, so donāt spaz when you plug it in and nothing happens. The video is just after introducing him to the tank, heās exploring and happy and eating. All in all Iām happy, heās happy, everything about the product and the seller exceeding my expectations. You can stop comparing products and go ahead and buy this now š

Its a GREAT tank, I guess be careful when cleaning out the rocks and don't tap the bottom.
I loved this tank when I got it for my betta, Ben. I had it for a while. (Since 11/24) - When I was cleaning it out the other day, I turned it over to get the rocks that were stuck to the bottom to fall into the trash. A lot of the rocks were still stuck to the bottom, so I gave it a tap on the bottom to loosen them up and the whole bottom cracked. I was shocked. It's not like I hit it with a baseball bat, just tapped it with my fingers. Needless to say I am in the market for another tank. I bought a glass 5 gallon tank, but that is just too big for him. I have a few guppies in it and they are quite the nuisance to him. Every time he tries to blow his bubbles, those little guys pop them. Ben needs to be back in his own space. :-)

Nice Aquarium - Filter failed at 6 months
I really loved this aquarium. It displayed nicely and my fish seemed to really enjoy it. I purchased it from Amazon in April 2024. Just this weekend, I was noticing that the water was getting cloudier than normal. Upon investigation, I discovered that the filter was failing (6 months). Luckily, I caught it before the condition of the water became dangerous for my fish and I was able to move him to another tank.I tried troubleshooting the filter by changing the cartridge, cleaning it, making sure that the water output holes were unclogged. Sometimes it would power up and seemed to be taking in water to filter with minimal water output and other times it would just hum and no intake or output could be detected. If I did manage to get it to work again, I don't think I could put much trust into it in its current state. The other components of the aquarium continue to work, but I can't find where I could purchase the same filter again. If not for the filter issue, this little aquarium would likely receive 4 stars from me.Pros:Clear, beautiful displayFeeding holeCons:Filter died after 6 months of useLED light-not very bright-pain to turn off - I would have to press twice as it would cycle to the next color before turning offLid has small holes for cords to pass

DO NOT PURCHASE
Do not purchase this product, it appears the manufacturer has gone out of business. Our filter failed and the Koller website and customer support phone number are invalid. They do not respond to their email address listed either. The product is poorly made, the tank scratches very easily and it makes it difficult to clean. We now have a dead fish, a defective item and no way to obtain a replacement filter.
