Soapy water will make it easier
Using light soapy water, heat gun, and slightly stretching around curves, application was easy with some patience. Looks good and gave me that yellow effect I was looking for. Still lots of materials left over allowing me to wrap two more bike headlights.

Understand what you are buying
I have never done any kind of tint before, I just winged it. I did everything by hand with no heat or soapy water. For what I was doing it worked. Looks good but when the fog lights are on the color is not amber at all, donno if my 55w halogen bulbs are just too much for the tint or what but the light on the road is almost a skin tone color? It's hard to describe. But hey looks cool to me .

Not worth it
Nice idea, except, not for the average user. I tried different ways to install. Dry, spray bottle, heat gun, nothing. I tried it 5 times. Bubbles did not disappear. User error? Or cheap product? Or a bit of both?

Heat and patience is your friend
I received the product in perfect condition. It was not easy for me to install. I have some experience with installing window tint and custom vinyls. However it was difficult for me to get the right amount of heat to stretch it properly. Others have said, and I agree there is a clear top liner that should be removed during installation. I prefer the wet method when installing any kind of wrap / vinyl. When I first tried it, I forgot to remove the top liner. it may help to prevent scratching during installation however it makes heating it more difficult. You can remove it and use a soapy solution to prevent scratching from the squeegee. I had to throw away the first attempt because of creases and wrinkles. I tried again without the top liner however again trying to get the right heat and stretch it without creating more wrinkles was difficult. My head light is really curved, and not as flat, heat and stretching is very important. I ended up using two pieces , one on top and one on bottom creating a small seam. However I was able to get it done. Practice makes perfect, I have two cars to do. Its hard to see the seam unless you are looking for it. Not sure how the seam will impact visually till night time. Once Ive gotten more familiar with it, I can try for a perfect install when the it needs redone. I ordered another roll, I like the product, I lack the experience so I cant blame the product. If you can have a helper I would recommend it, overall I recommend this product. Heat and patience.

Easy enough to install, but color is off by a lot.
As someone else pointed out, for the orange tint, the color is really off with a cool blue LED fog light output (6500k). The color may look orange daytime, but under light output where it really matters, it is a faint peach color and this is only with one layer. After installing two more layers, it was getting more of an amber but the output is so faint that it really isn't doing you any service at that point.

works to remove blue light
I installed some LED strip lighting on my stairs, and I mistakenly ordered the coldest, bluest (white) version of these LEDs. Just walking up the stairs to go to bed was jolting due to how unnatural it was. Rather than order a warmer version and have to redo all the wiring I decided to try this wrap as a filter. I cut it into 1/2" strips. There are TWO protective sheets of plastic you must peal off: one protects the surface, and the other protects the sticky backing side. I stuck it over the LEDs, popped the plastic cover back on and it totally worked. It warmed the light up nicely, totally removed the bluish aspect. Using two layers makes the light very amber, or close to tungsten bulbs, but I felt that was unnecessary. Pretty happy for $6!

Easy to apply, nice mat texture
I purchased this to cover a 3D printed dash panel with lights behind it. It worked very well for my project. The mat textured surface was just what I was looking for.
