3M 5806 Littmann Classic III Rainbow-Finish Monitoring Stethoscope with Black Identification Tag, 27" Raspberry Tube

As someone who works urgent animal rescue, deals with a lot of severe medical cases, and is applying to vet school, to say I am happy is an understatement.I've had the Littmann Classic III for a couple months now, and she's carried me through many a hard case. I'm incredibly impressed with the sound quality - both in picking up high and low frequencies, and in the quality of the tunable diaphragm. I had a very cheap stethoscope that was given to me a year or two ago as a "starter" one, and to hear the differences between the Littmann and that one is absolutely unreal. I was at first concerned that the single lumen tubing in comparison to the double would cause issue (I work with animals so that is a legitimate concern, if you have environmental noise (i.e., think animal EMT here) you gotta hear over it) but it hasn't caused me a single worry and I have been able to use this very effectively even in not so quiet environments.All in all, I'd give a 10/10 rating. I can't wait to upgrade to the Cardiology and compare!

This stethoscope is easy to hear, comfortable on ears, easy to use. Durable

I'm going to be attending nursing school soon and needed a good, lightweight stethoscope that still offered great sound quality so I ordered a Littmann Classic III. I had done some research from the Littmann website, through other reviews from other websites, and from fellow nursing students and they all pointed towards getting a Littmann. I was so happy to get it in the mail that I immediately wanted to try it out on anyone including myself, my parents, and my dogs. I was so impressed with the raspberry color and the beautiful smoke-finish. I'd say it is a solid choice for any health care professional!Side note on photos: I also purchased a metal name tag which is the metal band that you see wrapped around the stethoscope. And I used flash to take the photos so the Littmann logo caught the flash in one of them.

This stethescope is not only a good QUALITY stethescope (I have bought some in the past that I could barely hear my heartbeat through my chest, let alone anywhere else... The ear pieces were horribly uncomfortable.... ) in that it WORKS (as in it does what it is supposed to do... Once I got distracted doing something for school and I still had it in my ears and it was hanging down TOWARD the crack between my floor and my closed door, and I could literally hear the tv that was on TWO Rooms away...); but it is also (I am not sure how to put this ) is light weight, untangle-able , and always fits perfectly / comfortably... It cost more than the ones I have had, but only by about $10-$15 ..and I would have paid $100.00 more for one this good!

Es caro, pero vale cada centavo! Se escucha bien tantos los sonidos normales como patológicos. El código grabado fue válido en la app de Littmann donde podes entrenar el oído para reconocer lo normal de lo anormal. Amo mi esteto❤️Obs: la foto no hace justicia a su color, pero es verde olivo!

I just received the product, so I may have to update the review after some use... My first impressions are love/hate.I have never owned a stethoscope before, so I have nothing to compare to.The earpieces are comfortable up until about a minute of use, then they made my ears extremely sore. (Knocked a half-star off for that).The tubing seems really wonky - I don't think that's normal? (Knocked the other half-star off).I ordered the dark olive green and it's much darker than what I was expecting, but is still pretty.As far as I can tell, the sound quality is great. I tested it on my one year old and the noise canceling is decent, but not great.

Love this scope unfortunately after a few years with the winters in New York the tube is no longer safe to work with and unfortunately I’m not seeing replacement tubes or the Olive green color available any more.
