DreamGYM Hammock Swing Chair - Therapy Swing - Sensory Swing for Adults and Children - Soft Beige

This swing is terrific and **soft**. We got it as a main floor swing for our child with multiple, profound disabilities, inc Sensory; upstairs he has a more traditional hammock swing hanging from a single point in the ceiling. On this main floor we pushed aside our "formal" living room furniture and put in a traditional stand which has two points from which the swing must hang. We needed a swing into which we could place our teen AND get him out (he is wholly unable to assist). We wanted a swing which could let him curl up, so the swing would envelop him, as well as a swing from which his legs could dangle, if that's what he wanted. This swing does it ALL and is perfect. Our son is tall but as skinny + light as a toothpick; we parents are only a little bit taller and much (much, cough cough) heavier and we tried out the swing first. One night I ended up spending over an hour (!) in it, chatting on the phone with a dear family member. It was sooo comfy and soothing and relaxing, and I genuinely had no idea how much time I'd spent in it I was so comfortable. The crochet design doesn't pinch, doesn't burn, doesn't abrade. Now, my son (who has significant gross / fine motor planning issues) will get his toes wiggled in between the yarns but the yarns easily spread / pull open, so he's never been caught. I have also never had a problem extricating his sweet toes. Basically, this swing is a total winner as far as we're concerned, Special Needs to tired mamas!

It's sturdy and comfortable. Everyone falls asleep in it. Only thing is if one the strings gets snagged out place it's hard to fix it and you'll feel it when you lay in it. Like a knit sweater with a snag and you can see and feel it depending where it's at. Little annoying But not the worst thing.

My 14 year old Daughter loves her net swing! We opted to get our own hooks to secure to the doorframe and have had no issues. I like how sturdy the swing is and how big you can stretch it out when needed. Not sure how well this would work for a younger child since the net holes are on the larger side. Would definitely suggest this for swing!

This has been a pandemic intervention success!!! My daughter loves the hammock so much. It’s super snuggly and comfortable. She has the swing attachment and the trapeze attachment which get some use, but the hammock is DAILY. This is the best pandemic purchase we’ve made!

The swing came as advertised. It is well constructed and good value for the money. My son enjoys swinging in it. It’s not rough. He can sit up and lay in his back and stomach.
