I had to check to make sure I was ordering the right one as there are a few different types.

This little USB board replaced the faulty one in my PS4 controller. It takes about 5-10 minutes to replace and is a relatively easy task with just a small amount of technical skill. You will need a small Phillips screwdriver and dexterous fingers to carry out the replacement but that is all. My controller now works perfectly with none of the charging issues or disconnects it previously suffered from. The USB connector fits more securely than before too. Overall a good purchase and a hell of a lot cheaper than purchasing a new pad.PS. This USB board is for the V2 version of the DualShock 4 controller – the one with the illuminated strip on the touch pad. Check which controller you have first as there are different boards for different controllers. Good luck!
