Very nice green tea
The folks who complained that the taste of this tea is weak, are missing out. If you read about sencha, it is a subtle tasting Japanese tea. I suppose if your taste buds are used strong tasting teas, this tea may seem bland, but I find the gentle flavor to be very nice, soothing, and the fragrance to be calming. Sip, do not guzzle and enjoy. :)

Not bad
Tastes a lot like matcha. I got this tea because I saw sencha has similiar affects to Ozempic. I haven't noticed a difference yet but do like this tea

Love the flavore
This is my favorite green tea, it’s good value for the money, smooth texture, completely organic. Has a great color and always comes sealed well for freshness.

Smooth, relaxing & not bitter
I'm not sure why some reviews are so negative. I'm not from Japan but I've had green tea while in Japan & I've had several green teas in the USA & I have to say this is one of the best I've ever had.I recently had Sencha that a friend gave me who said the one they get is from a company in England & it's the best Sencha. It was good but this was much better (in my opinion). I ordered this because I had trouble finding the other one & it was twice the price. One sip from my very first cup of this & I was in love. Unlike most of the other green teas I have had over the years this one is mild, relaxing, smooth & there is no bitter taste like most of the green teas. What makes it even better is that it's organic (personal preference). This is the first The Tao of Tea product so I have no way to compare it to any of their other teas but the bottom line is this tea tastes wonderful. It is exactly what I was looking for in a green tea & have never found before. I never could quite figure out what the attraction was to green tea in the past because everyone I ever tried had a bitter taste. The tin it comes in is also very nice. It has an exterior lid & then once you open that there is another one inside that seals the can tightly to keep the tea fresh.I don't write reviews very often but this tea is so good I just felt I had to write a review.

This Tea is not From Japan
The description clearly states that this Sencha is from Japan and then has a Made in China Sticker on the bottom. I am a bit dissapointed. The can is dented and I can't return it per Amazon policy. With that said I like the leaves, they are regular leaves and not the crumbled version you usually get. The taste is a bit weak but as an every day tea it is not half bad.

Inexpensive, Poor taste, No sealed bag
I tried this sencha green tea, due to ratings and price, as an attempt to find more affordable options to my daily green teas.I like the canister the tea comes in with an inner and outer lid. I also appreciate that it is organic. The price for the amount of tea is good however the quality and flavor of the tea is quite poor compared to the teas I usually drink which cost about 3-4 times as much. The flavor of this tea is in the same realm as grocery store bagged tea, minus the bag. The tea leaves are darker in color and appear over-oxidized. This may be due to the age, the processing of the tea, and/or the fact that the tea did not come in a sealed bag. Lastly, I was unable to make a brew that was primarily green in color. The brew always came out in an amber or brown shade.
