CRATEX Z108 Point Kit

These polish very well. The only negative I have is the residue, not really a problem as it is easily cleaned though.

Worked really well to polish some feed ramps on a barrel. They did an amazing job, definitely worth the money.

Good for polishing up some small metal pieces I had.

These were perfect along with different grades of polishing. Perfect for what I needed.

Worked well on a Dremel tool. Only complaint the corse bit holes were a little off center causing the tip to break off when spinning at high speed.

Cratex does not list this kit z 108 or the z176 kit on there site I even checked the qc# on back of bag no match I'm calling Cratex in morning if this is not a Cratex product I will send it back the Q numbers on the point bags do match the Cratex numbers ? Update called cratex and these 2 kits are made up for amazon these are legit .

The description clearly states “Kit #Z108 CONTAINS 64 Points with all 4 grit textures (Course, Medium, Fine and Extra Fine) and…”However it only came with 32 (4 each of all 4 grits in size #8 & #10). Nowhere else in the description does it state only 32 Cratex points come with it. Most of the reason I selected this kit is because it said 64 Cratex bits come with it… $50 for 32 is $1.56/ea … I can get #8 & #10 Cratex points off Travers for $1.24-$1.32 each.Lame. Lessoned learned: just buy replacement Cratex points off Travers and pick and choose all the ones I want and pay less for them.

Cratex quality, I used cratex pruducts for precision deburring and polishing close to 20 years, at work, this is a good set of points for small metal working projects at home
