Probably the best RC plane for beginners under $60
So I initially bought this as a way to start training myself for flying more advanced, four channel models. Honestly? For that purpose, this thing is great! So a three channel model means that you’re not going to have control over the ailerons. If you’re looking to do aerobatics, this is not your airplane. What this does do very, very well is relatively slow speed flying and Basic maneuvering. That doesn’t mean that it’s not fun, far from it, this thing is an absolute blast. The airplane is relatively durable. Minor crashes are easily shrugged off. As long as you do not hit the ground in a high speed, nose down attitude, you should be OK. However, if you do plow this thing into the ground at higher speeds, you’re going to risk destroying the engine. The airplane runs off of 3 motors in the nose, all with a brass pinion gear. Those gears mesh with a plastic gear attached to the propeller rod. Why the engineers thought it was a good idea to connect the motors to the propeller via mashing metal and plastic gears, I will never understand. That interface is the only major design weakness in the airplane. Over an extended period of time, it is possible for the teeth on those plastic gears to wear down. Crash Into the ground nose first at high speed and she’s toast. That said, if you don’t try anything truly crazy, that shouldn’t be a problem. The landing gear on this is a little bit of a joke. The front gear is relatively stable and will stay in, though the back set will easily fall out during a high-speed turn or any meaningful crash. My honest recommendation is to not even bother installing it. Hand launch this and land it in a nice, soft patch of grass. While it sounds like I may have bashed on this a little bit, it is still a phenomenal airplane for the money. It is relatively forgiving and simple enough to fly. I’m not sure I would put this in the hands of an eight-year-old, but definitely a younger teenager. This is a great airplane if you keep in mind what is it is intended for: basic, relatively low speed maneuvering with simple enough flight controls that you can up quickly with a basic understanding of aeronautics. It’s reasonably durable assuming that you take care of it and don’t abuse it.If you’re looking for a decent way to get into RC airplanes for under $60, this is probably the best place to start.

A Must Buy!!
Not sure what happened with these other negative reviews, but mine is a good one. Bought this for my son on his 11th birthday and I will say out of the box this is a great little model. This thing is pretty quick, flys level and climbs fast. Does not break easy at all. It has slammed into the side of the house, smacked a curb a few times, belly landed in grass, not one thing broken. Have not tried the 3D flying yet. Definitely a good buy and for the money this is a great little plane!

Did not look styrofoam, but it is! The one wing was bent when received! Pretty cheaply made for the price!

Piece of junk
This thing is impossible to fly. It doesn't respond appropriately to inputs from the transmitter. Sometimes it doesn't respond at all to inputs from the transmitter. I thought maybe it was just me, since I haven't been doing this very long. So I had a friend try it who has been flying RC airplanes for years. His comment was the same as my title for this review.

A Fun Little Park Flyer at a great price (paid $59.99)
This is a competent little park flyer. It's very durable with great battery life too.I just had it out at the park for its first flight, I was eventually able to gain control despite the decent breeze and small gusts. It survived quiet a few rough landings/ crashes in the grass without any real damage at all. I'm waiting for a still day to realy master it and push it's capabilities. Very Fun! Highly Recommend for the Price! Get it, fly it :]

Very easy to fly and tons of fun. Customer service is incredible!! (I typically do not do reviews)
This plane was a birthday present for my young son and the first RC airplane any of us have ever flown. Assembly was simple and after a few minor adjustments to the transmitter, this plane was flying beautifully! With the 2 batteries, my son and husband enjoyed over an hour of total flight time. My two other sons are terribly jealous and are saving their money to buy their own. The level of customer service displayed by the seller was at a level I have never experienced. We had a minor issue with the first plane we received so I sent a message to the seller. I had a response in approximately 10 minutes and had a replacement the very next day. My son didn't miss a minute of opportunity to enjoy his birthday gift thanks to the service provided. I will definitely buy from this seller again. I highly recommend this plane...even for beginners like us.
