Howies Hockey Pro Style Skate Sock

I have a super picky kid when it comes to socks and these are his favorite ones for hockey. He found that they stay up and fit his foot right. He has had some other socks and they would fall down. Howies stay in place

Bought these to try and help reduce lace bite from reffing. I am in my skates anywhere from 3-5 hours reffing games and was dealing with some lace bite and these socks were great at reducing that. Fit great and come up to just under my knee. I am 6’5” so these add an extra layer between my shin guards and my leg to reduce stink. Extra large fit great. Gonna be adding another pair soon so I have a backup set ready.

Great socks the material just makes them difficult to get on and off.

I'm a size 8 skate and size 9.5 shoe. I ordered the medium which is supposed to fit sizes 6-9.5 and I wish I'd gone with the large. It's very difficult to get my feet into these even after 3 or 4 wears. Once they're on my feet they feel okay and the breathability is good, but I would have been much happier going one size up. If you're in a size 8 or larger skate, definitely go for the size large.

My grandson plays ice hockey so I think he will like this goth Christmas

I tighten my skates a bit more than I probably should, therefore skate bite is an ever present issue. I find that the extra cushion at the right point in this sock really increases comfort. I also put gel skate bite protectors in the tongue of my skates. The two part solution has gotten rid of the issue for me.

Bought these as a gift for my hubby who plays ice hockey. He loves these socks and said they are the best he has ever had. Said he felt like they reduced foot fatigue. He's asking for more of these.
