The tingling is wierd but it works

It works. Been using it for years.

Excellent product. I was introduced to this pain relieving gel in the past by my Physical Therapist, she gave me a tube to use at home. Physical therapy departments stock the jugs with a pump in it as well as 4oz. tubes. I have used it on and off when necessary for backaches and also on my knee. It has a pleasant minty scent but it does not linger on you. It goes away quickly and no one can tell you used a rub on medication. I believe it comes in a Cream form but I prefer the GEL FORM. I always get relief when using it and would rate it 10 STARS if I could. Amazon's amazing offer that I received on 6/20/14, included set of 3 (4oz.) tubes each, plus, 10 (5gr.) travel packets. Total order price was only $28.05. I am a senior citizen prone to back and knee pain and this product gives good relief. It's a cool,cold therapy that numbs the nerves that creates the aches and pains. The Hot Rubs never worked for me, besides the awful smell that stays with you, some people like me have sensitive skin and cannot use those rubs containing Capcasion(Hot). People I'm telling you BIOFREEZE works. Try it, you'll like it. I hope my review helps some people out there looking for relief.

This product can be compared with "Mineral Ice", IMO. Like Mineral Ice, it has the same "cooling" sensation, and after you rub it on, there is a "warming" sensation that lasts for awhile. It doesn't stain your clothing, and it is non-greasy. There is a pleasant, menthol fragrance with both products. Biofreeze contains ILEX - Mineral Ice does not. However, I don't feel one product works better than the other. To me, they produce the same results. I purchased the Biofreeze recently because I am a crocheter & knitter, and I have a bit of arthritis in one hand at the base of my middle finger. After rubbing in the Biofreeze, if I raise my hand near my face, I can still smell the menthol for awhile. However, if I rub it on my body where it gets covered with clothing (such as my lower back), I haven't noticed the menthol smell, nor has anyone in my family mentioned it. Biofreeze costs a bit less than Mineral Ice. Also, Mineral Ice DOES have an expiration date. Biofreeze does not, but I don't know if that means anything. I deducted one star because I don't "love" the product, but I like it. Would I recommend it? I would tell you to try it for yourself and see if it works for you. However, if someone came along and told me something else works better, I would be open to trying their product. I can't say that my pain goes away entirely when using Biofreeze. I think the "warming' sensation gives a sense of comfort, which lessens the pain, but it doesn't take care of the pain completely.

I contracted myeofascial pain after a kidney transplant back in 2010 and have been living with chronic pain ever since. Any type of physical activity aggravates the pain. BioFreeze takes the pain away within 30 minutes and I’m back on my feet and ready to take on the world. I swear by this stuff. Also, you may think Amazon’s price is a bit high but it isn’t - try going to a chiropractor’s office or physical therapist office and they sell the same product for almost twice the price.If you are suffering from muscular pain or even arthritic pain, this stuff really works. I have stuck with the green gel as I found out that the clear gel just doesn’t work as well.

I liked that it dried fast on your hands and it worked for a long time on your muscles. I used it it on the muscles on the back of my leg, were my calf was It helped and it worked for a long time , to relive the pain

I ordered a 3pk 4 oz, for $15. I only received a single tube. Plus the deal was $9.76 prime price. The product works great just didn't get what I ordered.
