More power than the originals!
I have had my Makita drill for a long time...original batteries weakened to the point they wouldn't keep a charge at all. The original batteries were rated for 1.3Ah while the new ones are rated 3500mAh. I can fell the difference in the tool with faster top speed and greater torque than ever before (even more than when it was new)! Nice power packed in the same physical size casing. Definitely likey!!

Electrically fine, but construction could be better.
Since original Makita 9.6V batteries are now unavailable I choose Exmate. At 2 for $39.99 the price is attractive and they arrived quickly. The fit in a drill or flashlight is not quite as snug as original Makitas. They had plenty of power and charged normally. After only a short amount of use the base on one separated from the top. Since it is not cracked I'll glue it back on rather than hassle with a return.

Fit old drill perfectly.
Restored speed and power. Too soon to say about life of charge or battery longevity.

Good value
Fits my old Makita drill and seems to work well. I hope it lasts long because this was a good value for my money if so.

Batteries
Batteries, look like the Makita batteries that came with the drill. Haven't used them yet, but I am sure that they will be okay. The last batteries that I bought from another compant only lasted one year. I am hoping these are better batteries. Has 500 more amp/hrs than the last. Fitd my Makita 9.6 volt drill.

This gave new life to my ancient 6222D Makita drill
I love my ancient Makita Drill that has been the star of three decks and countless smaller projects. But the old batteries gave up. Thus battery breathed new life into a old friend. Just in time for a fourth deck. Highly recommended.

Didn't fit model 9100
Model 9100 was listed as one in which this battery would fit, but it doewsn't get seated far enough to allow the latch to be closed fully.
