Slick solution for garage speaker.
Plugged it into an outlet near the ceiling to keep the speaker out of the dirt for great sound while working in the garage.

Quality speaker
I’ve had this product for over two years now, and it’s performed very well so far. No complaints-5 stars!

Cheap crap, but it works!
This is an extremely cheap piece of plastic (as in the quality of the plastic itself is poor). Its glossy finish is prone to showing off scuffs and scratches extremely easily (in fact, mine came pre-scratched). It has a really ugly hole to access the mute switch on the Nest Mini (I wish there were a plug or something for the hole).Although I have no doubt that I received a new product (the packaging was pristine and the included inserts were crisp and clearly brand new), the glossy plastic itself was scuffed and had scratches right out of the box. Mine even came with some disgusting brown smudges on it (which fortunately wiped off with a disinfecting wipe). That said, the product works well enough. The cord management is nice. It stays in the outlet, and has a narrow enough profile that I could plug a nightlight into the other socket on the same outlet. It isn't particularly stable, though. So, it "leans out" a bit from the outlet (as the weight from the speaker pulls it down, thus if you look at it from the side, you'll notice the top of the mount is slanted outward, pulling away from the wall). If you bump into it, it's going to twist or fall off the wall.Ultimately, it works for what I needed. Mine is plugged into a corner outlet above a bathroom countertop where it's not likely to be touched or bumped accidentally. It keeps the speaker off the bathroom counter and away from water (etc.). So, despite being cheap crap, it does its job.

LOVE IT...used with Google Nest Mini (2nd gen)
Just what I needed. Sent similar ones back but this one's a keeper! I have a 2-plug outlet with a rocker switch. This product:1) Clears the rocker switch,2) Can be plugged in with the Nest Mini in theUp or Down position,3) Doesn't impede the usage of the otheravailable outlet,4) Is very sturdy,5) Is flush-mounted and doesn't flop over inthe Up position (as described above).Kudos and a shout-out to Troy C Grier who has the best look and the coolest way for wiring. It's better than the Mfgr's way of doing it. Genius! Check it out by seeing how he does it in the reviews here.

Almost Perfect.
Almost perfect. Fits my Google mini speaker perfect with a satisfying grip. And the cable solution is also perfect size and tucks away the cord nicely. But I feel like they gave up when it came to the mounting of the power outlet end of the cord. It just kind of sits in the mount. Any disturbance will knock the holder off the plug and the whole thing falls over. Just a bit more work to make the outlet fit snug in the upper holder and this would be a perfect product. I have to put in some double sided tape or superglue to hold that in secure as is. Still good for the price though with modifying.

My speaker has a home!
I love this simple yet effective housing. Originally this was on my nightstand but I wanted it to be hung and started looking at options. Came across this housing and knew I would love it. I didn't like the fact that the cord would overlap so I got creative as you can see from the 2nd picture. Would definitely recommend.
