Punched through steel easily
I needed this to get some anchors into steel studs. It easily went through within 10 seconds. I’ve only used it on steel 3 times, but it still seems pretty sharp and capable

5% cobalt not 8% won't drill tool steel
Seems like an ok bit. Didn't work very well for my application. If you are trying to drill out a ratchet head this is not the bit for you. Advertised as 8% cobalt and package clearly states 5%

It Drills Holes
I broke my previous drill bit and bought this as a replacement for my drill bit set. It is the correct size and seems to drill holes fine with no issues. Drilling holes is what I bought it for so I'm happy!
