We’ll built, but a minor design flaw
Overall this mount is sturdy and well built. It will have no problems holding my spilt duct compressor unit. The issue is that the included lag screw heads are too large to fasten to the mounting bracket with a standard socket. The mounting bracket also doesn’t allow for the use of a washer either. I had to trek off to my local hardware store to purchase lag screw that could actually be tightened all the way with a socket. Would have given it a “5 star“ rating if it wasn’t for this minor design flaw.

Good bracket but missing hardware
I didn’t get the bolts needed to put it together but I some close laying around and finished the install only time will tell if it’s a good bracketUpdating review to a 5 star without them asking me to. I needed just the 2 bolts and they sent the whole kit. Now that is customer service.

Terrible design
Maybe this is because it’s designed somewhere else in the world I’m guessing France but in the US we use 16 inch centers for studs. This major is about 31 inches wide, which is too narrow to install into the stud. The horizontal piece is probably 16 gauge steel. It is so thin and flexible that if you were to mount it to the studs, the weight of the unit hanging on the down arms, would cause it to bend and collapse. Now, of course, the design of the down arms would be that you would mount those to studs, but because they are also not on 16 inch centers the best you can hope for is to mount them to one stud and the other one to a wall. They give you hangers to mount those down arms that are 3/8 of an inch but I do not know of a house in North America that has enough substantial material. The façade to be able to use these in any kind of manner to hold that weight
