Customer support
I purchased a brine barrel with all the necessary equipment that allowed me to fix my existing system rather than put in an entire new system. The new parts not only worked well with the old system but the parts I got from Aplus Water are superior in the ability to resist corrosion which is why the old parts failed.Perhaps more importantly on the date I expecting to get parts,I checked the tracking data and it was saying that I had already received the order and the shipper claimed that the proof said driver “met customer “ so I have no idea what happened, but the result was that I was waiting for parts and I had an entire soft water system torn apart in my garage. Not happy!I got in contact with Heather at Aplus Water and explained that I didn’t receive the parts as the shipper claimed.Heather reassured me that Aplus would lookinto it and would ship out a replacement order ASAP. That is exactly what happened and I received the parts at my door one week to the day when I would have received the missing order. Aplus Water will get any business from me in the future and I highly recommend them to anyone

A Solid Substitute with Room for Improvement
I recently purchased the Water Softener Salt Tank brine tank as a replacement for our original tank, and I'm largely pleased with the product, even though it required a bit of tinkering to fit our existing softener equipment. The tank material could stand to be a bit thicker. As it is, though, it not only holds up well but also serves its purpose. A design improvement that could be really beneficial is a lid-holding feature, allowing users to secure the lid on the side of the tank while filling it with salt. This small addition would make the filling process smoother and more convenient. One thing I'd like to highlight is the addition of an elevated stand for the tank. This has been a godsend, significantly reducing the need for bending over during refills. For anyone struggling with back issues or simply seeking to dodge unnecessary strain, the stand addition is a tremendous help. All things considered, the Water Softener Salt Tank is a good replacement option. It gets the job done and, with a few design improvements, could be even better. As it stands, I'd still recommend it for anyone in need of a new brine tank.

Easy to install, but messy to operate
This tank functions exactly as designed, and within its design limits in performs well. The problem is the design itself. I've had this tank for over a year and while it operates well - its messy to refill.Pros = Easy to install, lightweight. Very large capacity - allows you to have a few hundred pounds of salt in the tank so routine refills are far in between. Supports plumbing into extra overflow tanks if your setup is architected this way.Cons = no instructions included. No salt plate included (if you use without a salt plate it will clog the float intake and possibly overflow). The float is set to a very high water level and volume. Most tanks use low volume so the water level is below the level of the salt pile. The high water level causes a lot of salt water splash when replenishing the salt pile that isnt contained in the tank. Over time that gets everywhere. After a year of use their is salt crust stains everywhere outside of the unit for a radius of 3-4 feet. Plus if refilling a nearly empty tank, adding several bags will displace so much water it can overflow. So what good is all that capacity if the water level prevents you using all of itBottom line = an inexpensive unit that works as designed, but messy to use. There are more effective designs out there - I recommend those over this model.

100% Exact Replacement For The Original In Every Way, Shape and Form!
I had to replace the original brine tank since the previous owner apparently never cleaned the tank. There was 14 inches of salt block in the bottom of the tank which interfered with the float assembly operation. Easiest thing to do was replace the entire thing. The float mechanism and tank connected perfectly to the existing system and are working perfectly. Highly recommend this product to anyone needing to replace their existing tank and float system.

Exact same container as the old one
I was able to get the exact replacement I needed by reading the information for this product on Amazon. Saved me a lot of time driving around looking for dealers that carry this type of product.
