Great tasting well balanced olive oil
After trying a few high end olive oils, Papa Vince Extra Virgin Olive oil hit the sweet spot for me. You'll get the benefits of a polyphenol rich balanced oil with a really nice flavor. I use it for cooking, salads and drizzling over a bowl of pasta.

Exceptional quality and taste
.Pappa Vince's Extra Virgin Olive Oil has an exceptionally favorable taste. I am trying out various olive oils and this one so far has the best flavor. I am also attracted to the exceptional nutritional benefits which this company documents the significant nutritional components. Despite all of this, the price is comparable to many of the other EVOO.

This product is awesome. Great flavor for finishing. I’ve used it in dozens of applications. And a bonus is that it’s Sicilian.

If you want QUALITY, Papa Vince is your EVOO!
Let me first say that my wife is of Greek heritage. As a child growing up, her mother used olive oil in just about everything that they ate. There were times when she said that the Extra Virgin Olive Oil (EVOO) that we get here in the states, they simply are not a high quality oil as opposed to some of the EVOO that she was used to from Greece and Italy. That is, until now. I purchased the Papa Vince EVOO for her to try. I have to say, she was esctatic. She said that this oil is wonderful and it's exactly how she remembered EVOO was when she was growing up.Papa Vince's EVOO, although to some it may appear expensive, it is very much worth the price. Even I am not accustomed to spending that kind of money on EVOO. Why? Becuase I've spent too much time buying the cheaper quality and never realized just how much high quality and low quaility EVOO differ in taste. My wife suggests that we use Papa Vince's EVOO for use in salads and as a dipping sauce (EVOO, garlic). Being that this oil is single soucrced, it makes it all the more reason why we will continue to buy this brand. We want consistency and you will not get that from any other EVOO unless they also identify as single sourced.Papa Vince, you've sold us and no, I was not compensated for this review. I'm pleased that we have now found an EVOO that makes my wife happy!PROS: Taste, high quality, single sourced, FRESHCONS: None noted

I can do better at Walmart for much less
Thin texture, weak flavor, no peppery bite. I can do better at Walmart for much less.

Solid 4 stars
This company seems great. The package arrived quickly in great condition w/ alot of padding to prevent damage to the glass bottle. One of the owners/family members has sent 4 e-mails w/recipes as well as information on how their olive oil is made w/meticulous attention to quality. That being said, I find it difficult to write an objective review as apparently, I just do not have a very refined palate or taste buds & have difficulty discriminating between olive oils. According to Larry Olmstead's book "Real Food/Fake Food" there are many fake olive oils being sold as EVOO in addition to other fake foods. So I need to rely on other factors & reviews. I'm impressed that this product is first cold pressed w/single source olives from the same orchard w/ a FFA (free Fatty Acid) < 0.26 which according to my research is great. I also was pleased that the oil was fresh; harvested & pressed in 11/2015 w/ an expiration of 11/2019 according to the bottle when I purchased it from Amazon July 14, 2016. The best I could get at Sprouts (a health food market) had a harvest date in the fall of 2014...a full year older & therefore less fresh. And that was the ONLY bottle that even had a harvest or exp date. I have also visited Sicily & loved it (one of my favorite trips ever!) and was impressed w/the Sicilian way of life...simple pleasures w/ ALOT less processed foods & w/attention to the production of quality products (they also make wine in Sicily). I would like to give it 5 stars, but can't honestly do so secondary to the fact that I just have lazy taste buds! HTH!
