I repair vintage audio equipment as a hobby and have many different power adapters in various voltage, sizes and configurations and this one is the most difficult for me to use. Not only is it huge but it’s heavy it gets very warm and the worst thing is the inconsistency in the power output. if you have it set on 12 V it puts out between 18 and 19 I actually purchased it because The lowest voltage is 1.5 V but it puts out between four and five and it has fried a component. If you plan to use it on equipment that the voltage must be precise I do not recommend.

The transformer / power supply works very well, it also has some really nice features. It has a polarity switch for the output, it has a switch to supply a range of voltages (with not much variance from the desired voltage for each position. It can take eith a 110v or 220 v input. It does buzz a bit while on. The output jack is a universal jack (a four way and two singles, but it would be better if it were a set of removable adapters (Becuase they aren't as cumbersome, and they're interchangeable between devices).

Good quality, sufficient output power and switchable polarity. Makes it very versatile. Only wish there was also USB output!

We use it for items that need old style adapters.

Sold as having the ability to output 1 of 7 selectable voltages. This thing outputs a voltage but it is not selectable. As advertised it is a fraud and the manufacturer and any intermediate sales people should be sued for allowing it.

It looks just like my old one I had but when it came I was like woe that's big. But it functions decent
