Properly sized, designed fitting .

It’s a pipe it does piping and it does it well. Anyways, I bought it to use as seal installer for my Crankshaft and Camshaft front seals. It fits nicely around them and worked for my diy use case. Soild pipe for piping would pipely pipe again.

I don't understand how it's possible, it's even the exact same manufacturer, and both parts say 3", but it's slightly bigger, it does NOT fit snuggly and would not work with PVC cement. I'm not marking the stars down since I imagine it's something I don't understand, AND when I went to return it Amazon refunded me and didn't make me bother with the return, so with customer service like that... (If anyone knows why this piece didn't fit, please comment)

it's a plumbing fitting, what more do you want to hear?

Used this to tap in an axle seal on my Nissan versa. Can confirm they are tough as I used a hammer and rubber mallet on it with no damage.
