This is pretty stellar way to get some nice 3D out a normal HDTV. I used these glasses to play through the latter half of Batman: Arkham City, because I noticed the support for InfiniColor 3D in the options. Being a bit of a 3D fan( I love seeing the subtle effect in many movies, as well as the the no-glasses-required 3D on my 3DS) and seeing how cheap it was at this point I had to give it a shot.It really does make a difference! I don't know if it's due to the tech itself or clever programming on Rocksteady's part, but you get a nice sense of depth between you and the thugs that you beat down. With Bats being so close to the screen at all times, the way he pops forward is always apparent(though not distracting) and doing aerial dive bombs while gliding gives a cool sense of vertigo that you wouldn't have otherwise. Yes, it is a Purple/Green set and you will have to wait a few seconds to get used to it, but you'd be surprised how quickly you do (the weirder part is when you take them off after a long session and need maybe a minute to shake that feeling of seeing purple and green away!). If all the games that support it look this neat, I will gladly play them the whole way through like this.It is a bit disheartening that only a small number of games have support for these glasses. It seems that this tech was adopted for few games/movies back in 2011/2012 when the post-Avatar-fueled 3D scene was hot, and then promptly forgotten. At the asking price of 30 bucks for what seemed like just a gussied up Red/Blue set, I can't really blame folks for ignoring it. But for less than 10? Totally great novelty to have around. I did try to extend my value and make some other games work with 3D PC programs like TriDef3D, but even when in Purple/Green mode I could only get it to KIND OF work, so unfortunately it seems like these glasses will not be working with games that didn't throw the support in there to start with. But for the games that do(based on my playing of Arkham City and the few videos I found demonstrating Enslaved: Journey to the West and Assassin's Creed 3) it's great fun.So yeah, I really enjoyed my time with these. They are a great step above the old Red/Blue sets and scratch that passive 3D itch for those that don't want to go and buy a whole new TV for the experience. You can't expect any future games to support this, but there's a few well-received games that do. And for the $7 it's listed for here on Amazon, it's worth it for a casual 3D fan. Snap it up and enjoy the eye candy.

Seems alot of people are expecting an extraordinary dynamic experience with these glasses. (which, btw, are gaining much popularity lately). I don't see why some people have to be so over critical over products like this. The glasses DO make the colors amazing on your 2D HDTV. And yes, on your 2D within some various colors on a clear hi-def picture through hdmi, a 3D perception is definitely present. I own a 32" Vizio that's used primarily for gaming with an HDMI through my PS3.I own Arkham City, Uncharted 3, and Assassins Creed: Revelations. The 3D experience really, really works with these games, which are tweaked with the Inficolor technology. You just have to do a little adjusting for the best outcome. (the glasses come with instructions for best TV settings) So if you use a custom level where you have to lower contrast, pump up the brightness level, or adjust picture sharpness for your gaming experience, so be it. You can always set the picture quality back to normal when your not using your 3D glasses.All in all, watching a few movies, cartoons, and definitely playing the 3D enhanced video games (which now, many...many more games will follow) these glasses are worth the buy.But if you want to give this product a 1 star rating because Will Smith didn't seem like he was walking out of your television set, i would suggest alot of patience for a product that will be created decades from now.

Bought the glasses for Batman: Arkham City for my LCD HDTV. The construction of these glasses feel solid and are of a higher quality than what I was expecting. I wear glasses, and these 3D glasses fit comfortably over my glasses. The 3D is adequate. The main limitation is how much the game uses the 3D effects as its more visible/noticeable in some areas than others. People that use the 3D settings will need to increase the brightest of the screen to compensate for the tinting of the 3D lenses.If you're interested in 3D for Unreal Engine video games, the glasses are a must buy (because they're the only ones available). However, don't expect a dramatic change in the games visuals. Games are made for 2D televisions and while games can be ported to 3D displays, the games were not made with 3D in mind.

These glasses do not work at all. All they do is distort the color and give you a head ache. I am not one of those people who bash on 3d. I enjoy it in the movie theater. These just don't work. The positive reviews on here had me fooled. They must be people who work for this company. Not only do they not work, you can't send them back. They have a 7 day return policy. The free shipping they offer is so slow that buy the time you get the glasses they will not take them back. I also had a few other people try them out to see if it was just me. They do not work for anyone who has tried them. Same your money. You are better of with the old paper 3d glasses.
