Great for craft use. May not be appropriate for young child.
Great for the craft project I bought them for. Size was perfect, same size as a real large egg ( although the description said medium egg). Good color, I purchased the brown eggs. They arrived in a zip type plastic bag, not a carton, and arrived safely. Hard, a bit heavy, solid wood.I'm using them for a craft. They may not be appropriate for a young child who might throw it.

Looks real
These look so real I'll have to mark them or else someone is sure to gather them up with the rest of the eggs. I have baby chicks coming next month and I'll use these to keep the hens sitting so they will adopt my special babies.

Great for Crafts and Playtime!
These wooden eggs are a fantastic addition to my craft supplies! They are well-made, smooth, and free from splinters, making them safe for kids and easy to paint, decorate, or use in various DIY projects. I’ve used them for everything from crafting Easter decorations to creating custom toys for my kids. The quality of the wood is excellent—strong and durable, yet light enough for young children to handle. I also love that they are eco-friendly, which is a big plus for me. The eggs come in a set of 12, so there are plenty to work with, whether you’re painting them or using them in educational activities like counting or sorting. They’re also great for sensory play or as part of pretend play setups. I’ve even used them in conjunction with other wooden toys for a rustic, natural look. Overall, these wooden eggs are a versatile, high-quality product that sparks creativity and imagination. If you’re into crafting or looking for a safe, fun toy for kids, I highly recommend these wooden eggs. They’re a must-have for any craft lover or parent looking for educational playtime options!

Perfect Eggs, come in bag
Perfect wooden eggs that look very real. My 19 month old son absolutely loved them as he is obsessed with real eggs. Note that they come in a bag not a carton.

Fake Eggs! Using them in my real life chicken coops.
We bought these fake eggs because I have a coop that is huge, and I can't reach into it to get the eggs out. I've been using a rake to move them then pick them up. I want my hens to lay in their nest boxes it is cleaner that way. I bought these eggs and put one or two in various nest boxes. Plus I bought nest box herbs. I did my nest boxes so birds can choose to lay on pine straw over rubber laying matts I bought or on green grassy matts over the rubber type matts. Everything is washable. We in less than 2 weeks finally have our hens laying in the nest boxes. 31 eggs in two days. It was awesome to finally stop having even one or two in the run, and some were even laying in the feeder, or in the floor of the coop where they roost. All of them are in the box. The eggs look real enough we have to pay attention that we do not pick them up when we collect our eggs. I am very pleased. Note these eggs are in the shade out of the sun and they look realistic enough that we are going to put a black dot on them, so we don't confuse them with our real eggs! Love the product and highly recommend. I am sure they also make great fake eggs for children to play with. If you have a fake egg need this should probably fill it easily!

Good enough to fool the hens
Love these fake eggs. I bought then to encourage one of my hens to go broody. They're a little larger than the average medium egg but still works.

So well designed even the barnyard rats can't tell the difference
I got these to make those freeloading hens lay in the expensive hen box I built them and not in the dog igloo. It tricked them and they now lay in that hen box. Unfortunately the rats are also fooled because they think it's chicken eggs too. I hope they wasted a whole Saturday eating a wood egg. It's realistic enough that my kid will also collect it in the morning. So it served it's purpose.

Fools the chickens!
We had a broody hen who insisted on sitting on her eggs even though they weren’t fertilized (we have no rooster). We gave her these eggs and take the real ones. She’s very happy to sit on them. Hint: mark them with a permanent marker so you remember which are the fake ones. We drew faces on ours!
