Oddies Textile Rose & Hubble White Stars on Navy Blue Background - Poly Cotton Fabric - 112cm wide

This fabric is so good that as soon as it arrived I completely changed my mind on what I would use it for. I ordered it for something else entirely, but with six young Grandchildren, this one with stars on would be great for a blind or curtains for children's bedrooms, I will line it with white blackout or linen fabric and cut moon shapes ie, full moon, half moon, new moon etc, into the star fabric. (Make stencils from card to draw round first). I will paint the white fabric with illuminous fabric paint, you could cut out the shapes and use fabric glue to stick them but that's not always a resounding success when you wash it.. Use hemming web and sew them, and it will be great night sky curtains or even a roller blind, with the roller accessories available at most DIY or curtain retailers. I can't wait to get started on a roller blind.
