I used an IKEA Markus for 8 years and it served me well but eventually the seat wore out and I needed a replacement. I read a lot of good reviews about this chair online and decided to go for it. Assembly only took about 20 minutes. The wheels needed a bit of a tap to go all the way in but otherwise it was all very straightforward. The chair is extremely comfortable and moulded perfectly to provide the right support for your body. The seat height, angle and armrests are all adjustable to get the perfect setup for you and your desk. I can sit in this chair for hours without getting sore and uncomfortable, which really is the most important factor of all. It's not the cheapest chair but is still very affordably priced for what you get and I recommend it highly for anyone with a home office.

I purchased this chair in 2022 whilst searching for an ergonomic office chair with skate-style wheels, as I had read at the time that this type of wheel causes less damage to carpets. Three years on, in 2025, it still looks as good as new with no issues whatsoever with any component.The comfort, durability, and appearance are all exceptional. Due to the nature of my work, I spend many hours at my desk, yet I've never experienced a sore neck or back thanks to this chair's excellent ergonomic design.Recently, I contacted Customer Services after my headrest was damaged during a house move by the removal company. Despite the 3-year warranty having just expired, they kindly offered to send me a replacement headrest free of charge, which demonstrates their amazing customer service and commitment to customer satisfaction beyond the warranty period.I would highly recommend this chair to anyone seeking a quality, long-lasting office chair with exceptional after-sales support that goes above and beyond expectations.

I've worked in many offices over many years and sat on all sorts of chairs - this one is just as good as any I've ever used and has all the adjustments I've ever expected: arm-rests go up and down (not left, right, back or forward), seat goes up and down, back reclines, headrest and lumbar support are provided (* more later). The model I bought M18-M156 also has a foot rest which is a lot nicer than I expected, great for relaxing if you're on a long phone call or a boring zoom meeting, or just watching video.Assembly is easy (watch a 5-minute M18 video from Sihoo on YT to see) but needs some strength - the chair seat and back are quite heavy. Lifting the chair seat onto the pole in the base is the hardest part. The armrests are specific to each side - mine only had an 'R' sticker for the right armrest, but I'd already figured out which was which. All the tools are provided, with 2 spare bolts and washers.It's easy to operate the controls and it's movements are all smooth. It's strong and comfortable.Like all office chairs, none are perfect for everyone, so I can't give it 5 stars. In every chair I've used, there's always something not quite right - but this ine is among the best, because the imperfections don't bother you too much.The only thing I feel could be improved in this chair is the lumbar cushion - it hasn't enough padding and has hard edges - for me, the top of this support digs into my back, it isn't painful but feels awkward... it can be adjusted and if you keep trying you'll find a good depth and height for it. Some people like to feel some pressure in the lumbar support, this chair will apply pressure along the top edge of the support cushion - so if it had more padding or was slightly more curved it would be perfect. Even so, once adjusted it supports the lumbar region and is better than not having it.

I've had this chair for around 6 months at the time of this review. For the price, I wasn't expecting greatness - but I was wrong. It was meant to be a stopgap until I saved up for a Herman Miller. Instead, I'll be keeping this for the forseeable future. It's a very good chair, fighting way above its weight class.The lumbar support is fantastic, the headrest and tilt provide incredible comfort when having a laze, and the general sitting comfort is massive. I work from home, and then I play games, so I'm effectively in this chair ~14 hours on the average weekday. I have had absolutely no issues with pain or lack of support. For perspective I am 6ft and 120kg (just under 19 stone in the old tongue) and most chairs just cause perennial back ache. I've recommended it to several people because of how much value for money you get and how good the chair is.Now, it would be remiss of me to not mention the absolutely fabulous customer support that comes with the chair. I had an issue with the seat itself suddenly tilting to one side, so I reached out to customer support who put me in contact with the office in the UK. They proceeded to help me diagnose the issue with the chair, sending out replacement parts (for free mind you!) based on their expertise. My running assumption is there was damage in transit initially and I just didn't notice, because the repaired chair is just as good as it was when I got it. Absolutely stellar customer support, and given my experience with this chair, I have no doubt I'll be replacing the wife's chair with one from this brand eventually as well.

It's easy to set up and it's a very comfortable chair. The neck and back support is just amazing. It works well for me.

I’ve cheaped out on chairs in the past and always come to regret it. I couldn’t say if it was worth the full asking price but with a reasonable discount it’s been a brilliant buy. Looks wise, it’s nice and sensible (I have the grey colour) and comfy enough to sit in all day. It reclines quite far back and doesn’t feel like it’s going to fall over, so nice and sturdy.
