My vanity has 6 enclosed halogen lamps that provide great light but get extremely hot, instantly. In the summer especially this is a problem, or when I’m applying makeup or doing my hair with heat and don’t want to sweat.I looked around awhile at led replacements and measurements but was worried about having enough clearance for the small and shallow enclosure with cover.This shape made the most sense because even with fewer lumens they provide more light because the direction is 180° straight down, no wasting light towards the back or sides. They’re coin-shaped so worries about depth.I had to clip the posts a bit with a nail clipper to maneuver the pins into the fixture, but super easy.It flickered a tiny bit at first then evened out. Super bright!! Much brighter than original halogens and they don’t get hot.Excellent product. Great value. Great price.

Nice and bright for our puck lights in cabinets. Because these are flat and not the thicker glass style they fit really well in the pucks.

I used this LED/power supply disk to replace a cheap burned out one on a range hood. It's versatile wide range voltage input, AC or DC was perfect, and the size was just right. I removed the input connector from the disk and instead soldered the old pigtail connector in it's place. Worked perfectly and fits just right. Very pleasing light output, and runs relatively cool. Should last a long time. Very good product at a super low price.

I bought these LED bulbs to replace 20 watt/12 volt halogen G4s in under cabinet lighting fixtures. These fixtures are circa late 90's and have worked flawlessly. I've operated them using manual timers and now smart plugs and they have always been dependable with the bulbs lasting years even with the lights operating five to six hours per day. The problem is the heat the halogens put out. You literally could use them to keep your slice of pizza warm if you place it close enough to the light. The bottom of the cupboard above the fixture as well as the dishes contained therein got scarily warm.When one of the bulbs burnt out last week, I thought I'd see what LED options were out there and was surprised to find A LOT. Most looked similar to the halogen bulb, but I noticed some reviewers mentioned the bulb was too long to fit in some fixtures. I went with this flat style instead which seemed like it might offer greater light output and would be easier to fit in a tight space. I installed all six in three fixtures and the light is bright. Brighter than the halogens. I got the warm tint, but I wish it was warmer. Because it's so bright, I don't tend to use my overhead kitchen light as much so I guess that's an extra savings I didn't count on.Unfortunately the new LED's do flicker. I rechecked all the bulbs to make sure they were seated properly because they do fit snug, but it seems to be just nature of the beast that an old light fixture isn't quite compatible with modern technology. I'm going to keep them and hope I get used to the flickering. It's not that noticeable unless you're right up close. I'm just happy not to have the heat output I was noticing with the halogens and I'm eager to see the effect it will have on my light bill.

Not only do you have to spend a lot to keep replacing them but if you bought a set and you want to switch other products won't exactly match the color and brightness so you have to replace the whole lot.These may be brighter than a 20W halogen but not to much brighter. The color is excellent not blue at all. Very comfortable and warm.The pins are a bit to long and I had to bend them just slightly to get them in but they do fit.I notice no flicker.These are installed in a motorhome and driven by the 13.4V LiFePO4 batteries.They are installed in an application where they will be on about 12hours a day so I should have some longevity information in a few months.

We got these to replace our Thermador vent hood lights. The LED lights are just as bright as the halogen bulbs without the heat. The only adjustment we made was to clip a bit off end of the pins to fit the light socket. Thank you for this excellent product. All other LED replacement bulbs were all too bulky.

Used to replace puck lights on an overhead stove fan. Fit well, look good, and are much brighter. Easy to install. I hope that they will last for years.
