This is for an 8”x6” beam.
The sides are too tall. It appears these brackets (the bracket pictured is a corner bracket, but the same depth) are made for an 8”x6” beam. I had to insert a 1” wood saddle to increase the height to ensure there was enough wood for the top bolt and that the bracket didn’t extend above the beam.
