Purchased this for just under 1900, wanted to try the quality and check out the hype about Pea Protein. I've seen it now. Thanks, but no thanks! The name already says Vegan Plant Protein, I was just focused on the last word. After using it for a month now, I am confident I will go back to Whey Isolate after this.General absorption is not as good as good as Whey. They say Isolate, but it is very hard to isolate protein from plants. The fibre (basically carbs) is how the rest of the nutrition comes in, unless fortified. High fibre also makes it very grainy. You can feel the grainy texture in your mouth. I tried with water, milk, coconut water etc it still kept grainy and felt like it was getting stuck in my throat (and ahem upon exit). Only with a banana and milk or some type of smoothie combo did I achieve the desired smooth texture.Flavour is good. Supposed nutrition profile is good. But plants do not have BCAAs naturally, so this is fortified (*Hum bhi kar lenge*). There are no EAAs (Essential Amino Acids) that are naturally occurring in Whey, so thats a miss. Basically, unless you watched Netflix and have now turned "Vegan" there is no point in switching to a plant based protein at this point. You pay more and get less. Stick to Isolate Whey if you want maximum nutrition at a better cost.TLDR: If you are a Vegan and want a good quality protein, this should be a good fir for you, but I haven't really tried any other Plant Protein so can't compare. Like I had to for Whey Protein also, I suggest you keep trying different ones until you find "the right" protein for you.
