They work!
I left a watermelon on the counter and when I returned a week later, what a mess! I cleaned everything up and thought I had gotten lucky. No chance. 3 weeks later the fruit flies are out of control. Just when I think they are diminishing, they are back by the hundreds. In 24 years, I have never seen this many insects in my house. It is out of control and I came to realize I'm not winning . Fruit flies must multiply every second. Fly spray does nothing and a bowl of vinegar in a zip lock bag doesn't attract enough, fast enough. So, I purchased these traps.Well as I was hanging one in the kitchen, I saw several fruit fliesin the window. I decided to leave them alone. I hung these 3 of these traps in the kitchen and put two apple cider vinegar traps in the window. A few hours later, the hanging traps have at least 20 flies on them. The vinegar traps have 1.I have made more progress with these traps in a few hours than I've made with sprays and vinegar in 3 weeks. I am finally feeling confident that I'm going to get rid of these fruit flies and I can invite people over again.Get them because they work!!!

Worth trying.
We were impressed with the packaging and presentation. Nicely done. The tack that comes with it bent so easily that I used small nails to hang the strips. Our area is not too warm yet but we have millions of some type of small flying insects. A small fraction are sticking to the tape but that may change once it warms up and the tape becomes more sticky.

I think it works on fruit flies if you have something to attract the flies
Fly strips work great for flies (not sure of the brand) but these do not attract fruit flies (FF). I caught 2 FF on 5 strips in 2 days. A small lid with apple cider vinegar caught at least 10. Buy this for flies but not FF.UPDATE: I'm editing my review because Stingmon Fly Strip DID catch fruit flies. This is an assumption: I think it caught the flies when I had something such as apple cider vinegar or a light beside the strip to attract the flies. This was sitting on top of a bowl with vinegar and dawn dish soap for approximately 24 hours. One attached image shows an 18 hour test with vinegar and dawn dish soap, the fly strip and another sticky trap. Another image shows the fly strip after 24 hours of being beside the vinegar. The same fly strip was opened about 3 inches on a desk before this test. So there were approximately 3 flies on it before the test.UPDATE 2: I'm adding updates because I want everyone to have honest reviews to make decisions and business is not hurt from inaccurate information. It appears that my assumptions were wrong. I think it helps to have the fly strip near something to attract the fruit flies but it's not always needed. Image labeled Image 4 shows fruit flies stuck to a strip without something to attract the flies. I added a paper towel with apple cider vinegar AFTER the flies we struck to it as shown in the image.Images labeled Image 2 and 4 are the same fly strip but images pictures taken on different days.Image labeled Image 5 shows fruit flies that I caught before I got the fly strips.Image labeled Image 3 was placed under a light that I kept on during the night.I updated the rating from 3 to 5 stars.I'm in South Eastern Florida, USA and I do not have fruit except for one apple in the refrigerator.

They are sticky. However they do not hang straight down, they twist up no matter how I untwist. The name brand ones will straighten after hanging. So while these do catch flies, you only have half (or less) of the strip that is actually usable.

Best price
It does the job but it doesn’t smell like anything like it says it does so I don’t know if that affects it. They tend to fly away after hanging but even on the ground they still catch flies! The price is reasonable for how many you get! Kinda hard to warm up

Great product at a great price
Initially, I was concerned about the value of this product as it tends to try coiling back up instead of remaining extended once unrolled like with the more expensive sticky-traps, but I found that unrolling it in front of a small space heater helps keep it unraveled. Otherwise, flies are attracted to it and remain trapped.Easy to set up. No foul smells. Great quality. Remains attached once set. Takes care of flies/gnat pests great!

Problem Gone!
We had a fly problem due to living right next to cows & dogs getting into trash that never got fully cleaned up. I set a tonnnn of these traps in every room and still have more to spare! One day, I went out to where there were tiny scraps of old trash (from the dogs) & held a trap on the ground. My hand was buzzing with flies just seconds later. These traps definitely work & we no longer have a fly issue! I’ve seen regular house flies, fruit flies, and other insects get caught in these. Definitely worth the buy! Now to get rid of the mosquitos…
