Can't believe they are still doing well
I thought I'd regret ordering this but these are great. Still growing and doing well. Came in super thirst so give them a good soak right away.

Nothing!
Received Sept 6, immediately soaked in water for a day then planted in new potting mix, miracle grow. Nothing after a week or so, so I tried again...nothing. they were moist the whole time with glass on top to hold moisture till germination. Sunny window in kitchen. Other seeds, Holy Basil and Thai Basil are flourishing. Chives...Nothing. Don't waste your money.

Some germinated, which is better than none
So, I had high hopes to get some Garlic Chives added to my garden to go along with my traditional chives and bunching onions. The garlic chive seeds arrived quickly, there were a lot of seeds included (not sure it if was 250 or 350 I didn't count them). I tried to grow them three different ways to start. Some direct sowed outside, some I started in 8" pots inside, and some in 4" pots under a grow light. Outside none ever came up, in fact, after 5 weeks all that showed up in that areas was a couple of crab grass plants (unrelated to the seeds). In the 8" inch pots, none came up even after moving them closer to sunny window. In the 4" pots I got 3 seeds to germinate in one pot and 2 in the another (Starting with 10 seeds with the hopes of needing to separate them later) and the third pot had no growth. Figured I might have luck with the smaller pots. Started 5 more pots with double the seeds, out of the 5 pots I got a total of 6 more seeds to germinate in three of the pots with two more showing no growth at all. They all grew very slowly and were no taller than 4" tall when I decided to transplant the 11 plants outside. All of them survived the transplant and seem to be growing 6 weeks weeks later. But they are not robust in any way, and they are not really looking like they are going to be solid performers, and I would be very surprised if they ever flower, let alone survive the winter in a Zone 5. Will be trying another source for seeds soon to see how they will do.In the future I will avoid ordering this seed from this vendor.

Garlic Onion seeds.
Can’t believe I am writing a review saying that this is my second package and that I have not had one seed come up. Everything grows for me and don’t understand why I am having trouble with this. June Truly, Natchez, Ms. 39120
