Perfect product
Great blower. If it does not work right on hookup, switch polarity. !DO NOT have your fingers anywhere near the fan when testing or it will slice them up instantly! (like I did - ouch). I ADDED a star for that, rather than taking one away because the sharpness of that fan blade indicates quality manufacturing. Maybe should ship with a bandage? Advising because I did not expect the fan to run with so much force so quickly and did not treat it with the caution I should; it does and you should! Some people asking about specifications - you can Google atwoodmarine.com and go to electronics and search for blowers or i attached a photo of the specification sheet as of March 2018. I don't know why but you get significantly more airflow with fewer amps/watts with the 4000 than with the 3000.As used: not for a boat. I use them for forced vent on some 20' shipping containers.Noise - yes you can hear them. It might be considered too loud if you are 5 feet away with nothing inbetween. Might make a difference on a small boat.

Works Perfectly, quiet and efficient
I like that it is so quiet. It moves a lot of air. We put our feet at the outlet to warm them up on cold afternoons out on the lake. It generates a lot of airflow at an affordable price and works very well. it was super easy to hook up, I just matched the wire colors to the existing wiring. It is light weight and easy to handle when installing. Great product.

Marine 4" Electric In-line Blower for Boats...
We installed it as a cooling fan under the seat of our UTV, Works well--is a little noisy, but moves a lot of heat and air.

Alternate use on Off Road Vehicle
Using this on our side by side for keeping cooling airflow to the drive belt. Best price out there and a better motor then came in our original "kit", that motor lasted 4 hrs and cost 50% more then the top of line Attwood Turbo 4000.

Good unit for my use
Bought this for a small paint 'booth' I built for spray painting during the winter in the basement without stinking it out from paint fumes. Being it would be in direct contact with the fumes, I wanted something that wouldn't spark and potentially causung a fire and being it is used in boat bilges to remove fumes made it perfect for my use. Not the quietest and no where the noisest. Fast delivery time too.

Noisy son of a gun, but I guess this fulfills its purpose. I used this to vent my basement occasionally (I also bought the rule Bilge blower) and both this sounds noisier than the rule.Anyone hooking this up have to remember to purchase the "Schumacher PC-6 120AC to 6A 12V DC Power Converter" and not the other adapters that someone here have prescribed...because it does NOT work (I have bought the 12v 6a Adapter Power Supply for LCD Monitor with Power Cord twice in fact - both a waste of money).

Installed in my RZR as a clutch cooling fan. Easy install, a fraction of the cost of the kits. Get your self a 4"to3" rubber pipe coupling, done and done.

Does the job well
Works great and fast. The noise level is same as hair drier. But for how much air it moves, it’s ok.
