A solid rack from a company with great customer service.
The rack is a solid rack and works very well. As some have mentioned, the center bar can be a bit of a pain with pedals. Combine that with the other pedal being right next to the car and I've found it's FAR easier to just remove the pedals on the bike that'll be closest to the vehicle. There are quick release pedals that can be purchased, or just a cheap pedal wrench. FYI for people new with bikes; one of your pedals is reverse threaded. To tighten, both pedals will turn towards the front wheel. To loosen, both pedals will turn toward the rear wheel. On a side note, one of the ratcheting mechanisms arrived broken. Hollywood Racks customer service was literally outstanding in getting it replaced.

Great purchase, heavy duty!
We purchased this rack nearly 2 years ago for our new Aventon E-Bikes. Although heavy, it is sturdy and holds the bikes extremely well. It works great on the back of my motorhome or my Jeep. Can’t go wrong with this if you want stability and quality.

Love this e-bike rack!
We spent six months a year in a class CRV with no car. We have Lectricebikes.com. We have owned them for four years now and these fold up so we originally bought bins and we folded them and put them into large bins on a flat rack behind the RV. It was quite an ordeal you had to secure them inside the Storage bin bins and then accommodate those on the rack which were slightly over so they were always not quite sitting flat. It took us at least 20 minutes to a half hour to secure them to lock them to cover them with protective tarps and it always ended up being a fight between my husband and I! … You know what I’m talking about!!LolWe actually saw this bike rack offered on the same site where we bought our ebikes. We had to order them through Amazon and we got them and they are amazing. First of all. They are very secure. Each bike gets put on individually. The tires are secure. Their straps are very well-made. It also has a lock on each bike connected to the rack once you put the first one up, you pull a bar you secure the bar and you put the second one so it’s not just sitting in the rack, but the rack has a pole in the middle of it that secures it from moving back-and-forth, we have just gotten back from a trip over 18,000 miles through Canada, Alaska the United States and we never had an issue with it, I highly recommend this people with bikes, especially if you have two of them !

Works like it should on back of 5th wheel RV
Hollywood RV 5th wheel bike rack for 2 Lectric ebikes at 65 lbs each. Assembly was straight forward. It is a heavy bike hitch mount but that is to be expected for its purpose. Nice that seat stem mounted claws, the hitch pin and the included cable lock use the same key. So far so good after 2K miles. It also comes with a heavy duty hitch tightener which was unexpected. My other one was not as beefy as this one. 2 nuts and lock washer on each stem of u-bolt, all black powder coated. What is not shown clearly is the rear wheel adjustable wheel placement guide to lift rear up so derailleur is not banging into wheel well bars. Note that the hitch pin is a screw-in type, with threads on the hitch.

Solid as a rock
The thing is heavy for sure. I think it needs to be to handle the action on the back of an RV. It is a bit cumbersome to install/remove and to “fold”. Hence the 4 star rating.I like the single key to lock/unlock the fasteners, hitch pin lock, and the cable lock. Very nice.I am very confident that anything I put on it will stay in place…. Safely.

Great rack but poor bike lock.
Hello. Your product performs just as advertised. It is a very good bike rack as we carry our two e bikes with confidence. I did have a problem with the bike lock used as added protection against theft, when the bikes were loaded onto the rack. On the third use of this lock, the guts of the lock were very loose, which created a problem trying to unlock the item and I had to cut it off with a saw to get my bikes off the rack. Can you send a replacement lock? Thank you in advance for your response.

Works for our two Rad Rover 6 Plus ebikes
Wish it had a quick release for center bar to make it faster to load and unload bikes. If I am only loading one ebike by myself, I lower the center bar and load the bike on the external rack so that the front tires will be the one going over the folded bar once I get the bike on the first slots. That way I am not lifting the heavier rear part of the bike over the folded bar. This makes it easier to then move over the front tire to the back rack and then the rear of the bike over.If we are loading the bikes together we don’t lower the center rack and just raise the bike onto the back of the rack, front tire first and walk, (guide), it through to the other side when the other person is lifting the rear of the bike. That saves time.I was bummed to see it go on sale for $100 off a week after we purchased ours. It is solid construction and hopefully will last for a long time.We added some magnetic rear taillights to it which we can remove easily when lowering center bar. It is really tough to see rear lights with two Rad bikes loaded.
