James Belushi(Det.Davinci) and Tupac Shakur (Det.Rodriguez)are 2 corrupt cops that set up drug deals,shoot the dealers stealing back the drugs and cash and in their opinion,do the world a favour ridding the streets of the scum-until that is one of Belushis "victims" is a DEA undercover cop? Rodriguez then starts to get a touch of the guilt trips and a DEA team led by Gary Cole descends on Belushis office where his Police Captain begins to feel the heat.As Belushi looks to extricate himself and Shakur from the mess they are in and find a suspect for the cops killing he arrests a down-and-out named "William" or "Joe",an alcoholic and between him and Shakur they convince "William" he killed the undercover cop.He wants to plead guilty and is adamant he will do so until he is confronted by someone who recognises "William" or "Joe" as a person who disappeared several years before. He is part of a super-rich family and made off after his own wife and children were killed in a car accident.I shall not reveal the ending.James Earl Jones,Dennis Quaid and Wendy Crewson also star in what is really a seen it all before plot.
