Eugene came healthy and he has already molted twice. Very healthy and pretty.

Came in earlier than delivery date. Alive and very active. Very well packaged.

Update: It was totally nocturnal. I only saw it twice in the two months it lived in my tank. The rest of the time it was hiding under a rock. The first time I saw it, after a month, it had lost what little blue color it had. So basically I spent a lot of money on a small crawfish that wasn't "electric blue" and that I only saw twice before it died? Never again.Original review: Mine arrived in great condition and was very active and healthy when I removed him from the box and added to my aquarium. It didn't seem traumatized either, because he began walking around as if it was just another day for him. He did begin hiding after that, which is normal behavior for a crawfish. It's been a week or more, and he's still doing great.Mine was about 1.25 inches in length, so not big at all, but still within the 1-3 inches mentioned in the product description.My only complaint is the coloring is NOTHING like that shown in the product photos, which have obviously had the color enhanced with computer software to make it more vivid and bright.The one I received is kind of a bluish grey, rather than vivid blue. Maybe that will improve with diet and growth, but that is how he arrived from the seller.Overall I'm happy to have him and he's in great shape. Two stars off for misrepresenting the color.

He ate all my shrimp which I should have realized but I read reviews too late. However I did not know he STINKS!! It is seriously awful and I don't have the money to fill my tank with 6...atleast 6 diff chemicals everyday and still it's cloudy. He's about to meet the sewer

Packed very well, came early, and although juvenile the colors are already vivid and very bright. Would buy again and can tell the seller is doing the best on their end to keep them safe.

I ordered my crayfish and got him in 3 days. He was here within 2 of being shipped. I got a male and he was very healthy when he arrived. I put him in a 20 gallon tank with tons of hiding spaces and he seems very happy exploring his caves. In case you are wondering what to feed these little guys, just because I had a hard time figuring out exactly what to feed mine at first, I bought some sinking algae wafers for plecos and sinking shrimp pellets. I would recommend feeding them pieces of raw fish or shrimp when possible to replicate what they eat in the wild. I like to feed mine small pieces of canned tuna. I also feed him worms when I can find some in the yard. They don't need much to eat but make sure to keep their diet diverse! Anyways, I'm very happy with how quickly and well my crayfish arrived and how happy and healthy he has been ever since! Would strongly recommend!

So far so good. He came alive and well on the 3rd of Feb and he's already molted. They really packaged the lil guy up tight, took awhile to open. I'll let you know how everything goes especially if I order another one.Well he's passed away from unknown causes. With all the hell he went thru during shipping i though the lil guy was invincible. So I've already ordered another and hopefully he'll fair much better., we'll talk again.
