Fits the flosser correctly
I like my flosser to make sure between the teeth space are clean. I use this style for travel, easy to pack.

They're okay
I bought these in error and because the nozzles I needed were discontinued, I had to buy a new air flosser. My only wish is that the front part of the nozzle where the water shoots out of was a tad bit smaller. I feel like its bigger than the previous models and you have to pay attention on where you're guiding the nozzle else you miss a tooth.

Excellent flosser when used with Philips attachment heads.
This flosser excellent and works well. Only use the products that are made by Philips for their products. I’m so happy with the the flosser and so is my dentist.

Convenient and a better alternative to the cumbersome Waterpik
I have one of these and got one for my dad so he could take it with him on his travels. I'm sorry they're not making these anymore and was happy to find these available in Amazon.

hard to find
if i knew how hard it would be to find and buy refills id probably buy another flosser. amazon was the onlly place to find refill. kinda odd since sonicare is pretty mainstream

doesn't fit 8240
The other reviews say compatibility can be a problem but I wasn't sure whether it would fit mine (which was bought from Amazon only about a year ago). As stated by others there are two "wings" on these that need to be filed or cut off. Then it fits. But further, the tip is different from those I've been using and like...these are bigger and softer and don't easily fall into the spaces between teeth making "placement by feel".I like the air flosser (I'm on my second, have been using for 5+ years) but Philips support (is it discontinued?) stinks.
