Excellent tone
I tried these strings as an experiment on my main mandolin, an A style f-hole type. They have lasted extremely well and the tone sounds improved (to my ears) over the usual D'Addario J74 Phosphor Bronze strings I'd normally use. I'll certainly be using them again.

Faulty string
On replacing strings on my mandolin found that the loop end came off the A string as I took it out of the packethad to re use my old strings.Will not be buying again
