I remember this from my younger days and with a cold I thought am sure this is what my mum gave me and bought it.It tastes nice and no harsh flavour like some, it does relieve a sore throat for a short time but not long and no help for mucus and cough sadly.So does it help? no not really sadly but short term effect yes and easy to swallow , jut do not rely on thi if your needing something for say chesty or bunged up cold as will do nothing !
