This exfoliates perfectly. It's not too soft but also not too rough. I think it's perfect for skin. I don't have sensitive skin tho so if you do it might be too rough. I actually feel clean when I use this and it does wonders on the back. Also can wash it and it won't collect junk like a loofah.

I have struggled with dry, flaky skin my whole life (33 years). What has helped me up til now is 1) showering no more than 2x a week, 2) use warm, instead of hot, water, 3) exfoliate exfoliate exfoliate, and 4) moisturize after my showers. And this has helped me manage a bit, especially for 24 hours after my shower. However by days 2 and 3, I would start to feel dry again and I hated it (especially in the winter). I saw in a reviews for an exfoliating cloth that this one reviewer had found that using the exfoliating cloth, with a urea based product for cleansing and then a lactic-acid product, for moisturizing after the shower, brought him a ton of relief. I will all the products I'm now using in my routine below.So, I decided to give it a go! Wow wow wow! This is the most hydrated my skin has felt EVER... and it's been longer than 24 hours since my last shower! This cleanser is on the liquidy side, but used in conjunction with my new exfoliation cloth, it lathers up so nice and I actually only need one squirt of this per shower. I use dove for sensitive skin on my delicate skin areas (underarms, thigh crease area, and under breasts) but then use this cleanser everywhere else. I've used it on my face too and haven't had any issues. This is just the right texture I was looking for. It exfoliates well and leaves a very clean feeling.

It is a really good product and I will buy it again and again. Three out of my five boys work at discount tire and they are daily coming home with tire grease all over them. This product is very good to remove all that grease from their elbows, their hands, and even their neck. It works wonders, and not painful at all.

TL;DR version: rougher than the regular Salux cloths, not quite as rough as the Salux Super Hard cloth.Let me get this out of the way: I love these little scrubby cloths. No, they're not for the inexperienced, but they're so good at what they do, which is exfoliate. I started with the original Salux brand, but found them slightly too soft for my liking, so I went to Salux Super Hard and was content with that for a while. I came across this while shopping one day and thought I'd give it a try to see how it compared to the Salux brand.Personally, I find it not quite as rough as the Salux Super Hard, but it's definitely rougher than the regular Salux scrub cloths. It's not quite a happy medium as it skews slightly more rough, but it might be a good intermediate step if you want a bit more power, despite what the packaging says. It's especially great for rough spots on feet, and the length means I don't have to do any weird balancing acts to scrub them down in the shower! Do take care with it if you're going to use it on delicate bits, and definitely keep it away from the face. Otherwise, it's lasted for months so far, dries super fast, and reaches every part I need to scrub! Would definitely consider a repurchase depending on the needs of my skin.

Although the descriptions make it sound like this washcloth will rack and strip your skin, it isn't that much rougher than a typical exfoliating pad. You'll definitely notice the difference, but it never feels like you're using a heavy duty scouring pad or steel wool. (You could probably still use it to clean the dishes though!) If you have particularly sensitive skin, I cannot say if this is a good fit for you or not.The cloth is obnoxiously long however; wish it was shorter since it doesn't grip well when folding it in on itself. Its length does make it easier to clean your back, but I'd rather use a specialty tool instead of a long cloth that suffers from some grip issues when wet. It is easy to clean though, usually just a rinse and dry cycle is all that I do for regular tune up. Doesn't retain as much odor in contrast to a standard cloth, but the faint smell of body wash is still noticeable.

I wear flip flops with bare feet and zinc sunscreen all day. This towel works great removing the dirt from the bottom of my feet and getting the zinc completely off my skin. On the days I don't wear sunscreen or flip flops I still love using this towel because my skin glows after each shower. It's also great for the face. I wouldn't recommend this if you have sensitive skin or irritated skin. I accidentally wiped over a scab once and it took it right off. This towel is a larger size than I wanted. I cut the towel into several smaller towels. I had to burn the edges to keep them from fraying after being cut. Great product.
