Amazing!!
Just one word...Amazing!! the animation is incredible and it all goes from serious to flat out off the scales. I've watched the English dub and I am going to watch it again with the original Japanese dialogue

Surprised DC let the Japanese anime industry take the reigns for a batman film but it worked amazingly well.

SEGOI!
You will notice the animation style straight away, it looks incredible, so much more polished than alot of other DC animations and so much detail everywhere. The character designs are ingenious. The final fight sequence on a roof top is amazing to watch. Only parts I found a bit rubbish was a giant monkey made out of smaller monkeys and the Jokers voice acting in the English version isn't great. But otherwise id rank this as my 3rd fave batman media.

Disappointing
This is a real mixed bag. The first major problem is the title. If it's called Batman Ninja either Batman spends time being a ninja or is fighting ninjas. But neither happens. It is Batman in ancient Japan. Not what I wanted. The visuals are good. The Joker and Harley are done well but some villains don't do much and you wish they did. All of the things that have also gone back in time, especially the car just make it annoying. Then there are the massive robots... it is like 2 different stories trying to exist at the same time. In the end I just got more annoyed and then bored. Shame. Just Batman on his own, no technology would have been much more satisfying. And training as a Ninja

...plays out like an episode of the Power Rangers.
After watching the trailer, I was really looking forward to seeing this so I immediately jumped at the chance to grab the digital release. Now that I've watched it I feel slightly let down. Let me explain. The movie (in terms of the villains) plays out like an episode of the Power Rangers. Over the top behaviour that touches on the lame and cringe worthy. Then you have the technology that makes zero sense plus a few scenes that take this movie into the realms of WTF (wait for teh monkeys and bat scene. Also, I experienced severe sound issues with the digital version. Its not all bad though. The visuals are amazing and the soundtrack works well too.Its an amusing watch but nothing to get overly excited over. Your kids will probably love it.
