PDCM Trace Mineral Essentials 8 oz.

Bought for a 16 1/2 month preemie (adjusted age 13 1/2 months) who had very stiff lower legs after reading about this product on preemiegrowthproject.com. Preemie was reluctant to walk and preferred "walking" around on her knees. After reading the information on the website, it made sense that a preemie born at 28 weeks would be deficient in trace minerals. She also had very bad reflux her first year of life and so we knew she wasn't absorbing the nutrients her body needed to grow properly.Long story short, within a week of being given these minerals, she was walking (actually she was "race" walking...as though she had been practicing behind our backs). The stiffness in her lower legs is improving as well. She used to only sit in the W position because it was more comfortable for her, but now she will sit with her legs in front of her as well.

I had high hopes for this product, but unfortunately, it was a complete disappointment. The biggest issue is the taste—it's absolutely awful! I tried giving it to my kid (recommended on preemiegrowthproject.com), but he could not tolerate the taste. I even tried mixing it with their favorite juice, but the taste was so overpowering that it didn't help at all.I will try something else, not sure if I will be successful :(.

This product is recommended by health professionals. It is very easy to take. I usually just add it to a smoothie or some bone broth. Most of our soils are depleted of minerals and there-for the plants that grow in them are as well. We all need to supplement with minerals. Without minerals vitamins cant do their job! I bought this after reading The Preemie Growth Project in an effort to assist my baby in catching up with her growth. I tried to take it straight before giving it to my child and it's too strong so I've had to mix it with grape juice or apple juice. It's too early yet to know if it's helping but I do see an increase in appetite and that is a welcome change.

I was dehydrated from an illness and was suffering from muscle cramps. My husband uses this product every day and swears by it. Now I do too!
