Product Title Wrong - These Are NOT "Stained Glass" Paints
I purchased these paints in order to paint some glass jars to use as tea lights. I wanted a translucent paint so that when a candle was placed in the jar, it would shine through the paint with a stained glass effect. These paints are NOT translucent. They all dried opaque, despite the fact that "Stained Glass" is clearly used in the product description. I was very disappointed with the finished effect. After all the work it took to paint the jars, I now just have two painted jars instead of the tea light holders I was going for. In addition, the dried paint can very easily be scratched off.If you want a stained glass, translucent paint effect, DO NOT USE THESE PAINTS. These are glass paints, but they will dry opaque.

NOT Glass Paint
You can't use this paint on glass. It slides around and doesn't give an even coat. When I tried to apply another coat, after letting it dry for 24 hours, the second coat took the first coat off. I cured the first coat and tried to apply a second coat with similar results. After curing in an oven and allowing to set overnight, I was able to wipe it off with a paper towel. You just can't use this paint on glass. It works great on wood and porous stone. I'm going to keep it and use it on my wood-working projects, but I will have to use another kind of paint for the glass-painting project I want to do. I just tried several glass paints and the best one I found was the oil-based Sharpie paint pens. There is a set with all the colors for just under $40 here on Amazon. For fine-tip details, I will be using the Banyon pens.I think it has to do with the fact that it's "water-soluble" and "non-toxic." The more warnings about toxicity on a paint, the better it was to use on glass. You have to use a true oil paint on glass. But this paint is good for other projects.

Terrible paint, missing color
This product is terrible. The paint doesn't work on glass well at all. It leaves streaks no matter how lightly or heavily you apply it, or whether you dilute it with water. And I ended up with two pinks and no cyan.

Don't bother
Not even worth buying for experimenting. Might be ok for little kids. There were redundancies and missing colors. No tab for pulling the tamperproof seal off, have to pierce with something (messy). They are very thick and viscous, therefore difficult to spread evenly. Transparent, but shows every brush stroke and if you brush back across the same area that already has paint, it picks most of the paint back up Definitely couldn't do anything precision with these, even with the thinnest brush, because of thickness. Might work if you want to paint something all in one single color, but would require several coats to get even coverage.

WORST PAINT EVER!
As an experience artist I have used many paints on glass and ceramic. This paint is worse than grade school tempera. It is matte not glossy or transparent and it won't adhere to glass even after following all instructions. After "curing" glasses in the oven I was still able to remove the paint with my finger. Amazon needs to remove product from stock.
