Used these for brunch on Christmas Eve to help announced an upcoming Disney cruise to the grandkids.Worked as expected, followed the directions for heating up and proper filling.

Worked great out of the box and cooks perfect every time it is used.

We are always looking for ways to increase the fun in our home when we are planning a Disney vacation! Well, a Waffle Party Buffet seemed like good idea and it was a HUGE hit! Kept this waffle iron pumping and a Minnie mouse waffle iron pumping out super awesome very fun Mickey and Minnie waffles. Lemon Poppy seed, Buttermilk and Savory Dill waffles with toppings galore on the table to dress them all up as people wanted. We were able to feed 13 people no problem.Now, regarding the idea that this is not a waffle iron but a pancake maker... I think that is not very fair. If you want gourmet waffles than buy a Belgium waffle iron. If you want super fun Mickey mouse waffles than buy this! You could not do both in one iron and the pictures are a good description of what you are going to be getting when you are done. Excellent definition and clear Mickey image. A squirt of release spray on the top and bottom and nothing stuck at all. If you want to know if the waffle is done just open the lid and take a peek. If you like them a wee bit crispier....just close her up again and go a it longer. Viola - crispy Mickey! The light on the front just tells you if it is on or off. This iron is not made by a crazy high end company like what you might find in beautiful kitchen boutique shop. It is a novelty item, but it performed beautifully for what we wanted it to do, we will now take it out occasionally for fun Saturday mornings and for the minimal use it will get I think it will do just fine. I would not have wanted to pay more for such a novelty.

Megan from Maryland this is another one of my favorites in the Mickey Mouse kitchen collection the Mickey Mouse toaster it looks exactly like it's picture it's fun it's functional easy to use and easy cleanup and it's great for small spaces if you love Mickey Mouse cooking waffles then this is the product for you I give it five stars two thumbs up it is awesome it does exactly what it's supposed to do I thought making waffles was going to be a mess and be hard and this was super easy it even comes with a little cookbook with a couple recipes on different waffles to make and the box is a collector's item to you don't even have to use any cooking spray on its non stick and when you make the waffles it's super easy you just got to buy the waffle mix make the waffles real quick you can even make it on a busy morning when you have to go to school or work it's super easy and the cleanup is super easy you just wipe it off and put it away when you're done and the waffles only take a minute to cook and they come out perfectly is actually like the picture you can see every detail I guarantee you're going to love it and if you don't love Mickey Mouse there's other ones to choose from that do the same thing that are awesome fun and functional for a small space I've recommended and I would buy it again it's worth every penny

I purchased this waffle maker because my daughter was Mickey/Minnie obsessed. To generate a little more excitement for an upcoming Disney trip, I figured this would fit the bill. Total winner. She instantly recognized Mickey on her plate. And oddly enough, was all too happy to eat him. :)Some reviews warn you away from this item, saying it's really a pancake because it's so thin. I can't disagree that it's thin, but I would imagine it would be hard to get that level of detail on a regular waffle. I already had a waffle iron, so that was not my goal.I can say that the bottom tends to be more consistently detailed and brown than the top. However, I just flip the waffle so the better side is up on the plate and it doesn't matter. We've used this a lot, and the delighted "Mickey!!!" that we get every time we put it on her plate is priceless. And hey, I like it, too. :)

I love Mickey Mouse ! We can’t afford to go to Disney, so in a way this is as close to Disney magic that we can get in our household :) I’ve made the waffles with regular pancake mix and chocolate chips and the kids love them! It does not have an indicator when they are done cooking which is unfortunate but once you’ve got a hang of it you get a sense of when to open and take them out. At the moment I’ve had it for months and my son had just tried to use it to make us all breakfast s a surprise. Unfortunately he wasn’t aware of how to wash it and ran it under water and everything like normal dishes :’) I’m scared to try to plug to see if it works to be honest. But I don’t mind purchasing another one because it’s just such a cute purchase and makes breakfasts so magical. I give this 5 stars and highly recommend ♡

I love the very cute Mickey waffles that this makes! You just put a dab of batter in each ear and a bit on the face (don't overdo - it spreads and grows) and you get a really cute waffle. Some complained that there was no light indicating that it was done, but if you read the instructions you see that each waffle takes about 3 minutes. I just look at the clock or set a timer and they turned out perfectly. They are somewhat thin, which I prefer, and brown up quite nicely and the size is generous. The only drawback is that it only makes one at a time and each one takes 3 minutes, so it would be hard to make these for a crowd unless you have lots of time. They do stay nice and crisp if you put the done ones in a lightly heated oven.
