Edit (sorry, confused this with a different blanket that I bought):The material is nice and soft and it is indeed lightweight. It is large enough to wrap yourself in it entirely. I bought this because I conceded my smaller go to blanket to my cat. All of a sudden my cat is also interested in this blanket which I take as a further sign that this is good quality because she is very picky of where she lies down.I would not walk about with it much because it may trail on the floor. Perfect to cozy up on the couch. Is not scratchy on my skin either.

I could not be more happier with this blanket. It is lovely and warm, soft to the touch and looks great. I will be buying another and also some for Christmas presents for friends and family.

After 2 years I decided to buy a second one(maybe a third soon)I’ve been using it almost daily and it’s still great, stays clean, doesn’t smell and I haven’t needed to wash it.It’s lightweight and will keep you very warm, it became an essential when I had the flu.It did shed for some time initially but I can’t give a good answer on how long it was, that did have me considering returning it at first but then it settled and it’s been perfect since.I just had to hoover a little more often, I didn't wash it to reduced the shedding

I paid £50, which I thought was fair, maybe a little high.I put it in COLD tumble drier for 1/2 hour and it became very soft and lost the strong smell.Now I’m enjoying it a soft warm blanket i use indoors and camping regularly.

Very soft throw colour just beautiful just what was needed for the end of my bed.
