Great simple toys for hours of fun
Our kid loves playing with these, and we prefer him playing with these rather than on the tablet. As I've noted under other similar purchases, the Angry Birds made by Mattel are rubber-based and much nicer looking that those by Great quality. (i.e. he's taking them everywhere, playing outside, beach, etc. we washed them many times, and still like brand new... no colour fading, etc.)Also, these are pretty simple and there are many ways kids can play with these. e.g. our kids also loves playing with the figurines by themselves. (e.g. builds "houses" and "castles" for them with all the bricks/structure-pieces from various sets. Also uses Legos. etc. Great seeing kids' imagination in action. Hours of fun...Would be great if they sold all the figurines separately so one could buy "missing" ones for their collection. All in all great fun.

Four Stars
Everyone of my grandkids from 3 and up LOVE Angry Birds. When all 8 are at the house; it's a fight who gets to use my cell phone and for how long each so they can play Angry Birds. I thought this would be a great distraction for the others waiting their turn to play on my phone. They were all very excited to see the game and start playing. 7-9 year old grandkids love playing this game. It gets them away from the electronics and makes them think while he is having fun. It didn't keep their attention long though from the lack of quality making it hard to play. It is made cheap and hard to stack but the kids still enjoyed it for brief moments.

If you liked the first Angry Birds Game, this one will be a hit.
I have two sons. One totally made fun of this toy when he saw a commercial. He thought it was the stupidest thing ever. He didn't know that Angry Birds Star Wars was wrapped up under the tree for his little brother. I was a bit worried, but on Christmas morning little brother was excited to open this up, and he played with it later that day and considers it awesome. He also has the first version, but enjoys the space version as well, especially the pig in the helmet that cracks open when it falls. It's not going to change the world, it won't last generations and it won't be brought out on family game nights. I would not consider it worth the $20+ MSRP. But if you have an avid Angry Birds fan, it's a good buy on clearance or lightning special.

Just as expected!
My 5 year old has played a few other angry bird games and loves it. He enjoys the building process and matching the design on the card. He did notice one of the cards uses 3 of the little birds and not the bigger bird with a mustache. This confused him because the game only comes with 2 little ones. This game seemed higher quality than the other one we had (On thin Ice) because the pigs are rubberized like the birds, not hard slick plastic like "on thin ice". This has made it easier to build and place the pigs on the towers. Awesome way to play off of the tablet!!

DO NOT BUY!!!!!! Space version worst toy ever
Horrible toy. Poorly designed. The blocks do not stay stacked as others have said. Curved and tapered edges result in the blocks sliding off each other when trying to stack. Our 5 yr old cried in frustration after receiving this on Christmas Eve.The box logo Is not the real Mattel logo and you can not find this Space version of the game on Mattel's websit so we agree with others likely an imitation. We will try the original version as recommended by others. We are extremely disappointed in Amazon as we bought this during their holiday lightening deal and you would think they would at least offer legit stuff on their deals.

My kids don't actually play the game
My kids don't get the cards out and play the game. My four and seven year old get together with the neighborhood kids and build a tower (we have 3 different versions so there are enough pieces) and then launch birds until the tower has come down. I think that there is even a little educational value to this game, the physics of launching the bird and the thought process of the best way to build a tower and even the patience that is takes to set everything up.My son carries these silly birds everywhere with him, this is one of his favorite toys so I can't understand all of these negative reviews.
