After trying a bunch of different hubs I finally found one that is fast enough to transmit data while doing video editing and has a lot of ports to accommodate my laptop. This device not only expands my laptop ports so I can plug in a bunch of usb devices but it also allows me to add two extra monitors with ease. Lenovo Legion gaming computer and do a lot of video editing with external hard drives. This hub was the first one I found that was fast enough so I don't have any lag while editing as the USB-c ports transmit at 10gbs and the USB 3.0 ports can live stream fast enough too.

I can't believe how many of these things I have purchased. They work great and the price is very fair. I have one at home, office, and in my computer bag for hoteling, one to wife and daughter to run a few monitors and simplify their set up. I have loaned (given) them to co-workers too. I'm up to 6 or 8 or these things and not one has died.

Works decently. I have to unplug and plug back in to get my HDMI chord to trigger my second screen. If I leave it in and close laptop it won't trigger HDMI port again till I unplug. All said and done it works well for what I need

Works really well if used with a computer that has a USB-C port. I have an older laptop that does not have a USB-C port and I bought separate adapters, and they did not work with it in the way I needed. I also have a laptop that does have a USB-C port and it works great with that. Only thing I wish it has was a charger, but as long as your computer is plugged into the wall it works amazingly well!

Update on 9/10/2024: after I this review, the vendor reached out to me via Amazon to offer a full refund or a replacement. I wanted to give this device, which I really liked when it worked. another chance. It was shipped fast & I received the replacement in 3 days. Great. It worked great, except, 3 of the 5 UDB ports didn't work at all. I have replied to the oroiginal message explsining the issue. That was 3 days ago & no response.I was going to change my rating to 4-stars, but now I leave it as 1-star until this gets resolved. I am happy my HDMI port works & I have 2 working USB ports. But, this is not enough. I will update this review if & when I hear back from the vendor.----------------------------------------------------So disappointed. I ordered it on March 2, 2014. It worked great for the 1st 5 months. For the past month the devices connected to the hub have been disconnecting in the middle of use. This means, I lose access to my mouse, additional screen, headset, etc. Rebooting the laptop sometimes works, but not all the times. I have the latest drivers. Starting the labor day weekend, I have no connectivity at all. My laptop only has 1 USB-C & without a USB-C mouse, I am forced to use the trackpad, which I hate & I can't use my external monitor, which I really need for work.I have written to the manufacturer 3 times, but they have ignored me. I paid a lot of money for this unit so i will have a reliable device for work, when I could have paid 15 bucks for the same quality.I will not be purchasing this brand any more.

I am extremely pleased so far! Would recommend it. I hope it works well for at least a year!

Had it since May 2022 and it has been working but it is a bit of a problem. Every so often (maybe once every 2weeks) it stops working and won’t activate any chargers/monitors connected to it and always at the worst times i.e during meetings.I’m at the point now that I am purchasing another docking station.
